But, but.. 1k DE penetration..?..Oh no, they will have a very impressive canopy. You see much light getting through that canopy?

Those open reflectors are the problem man. You need to have 10-12 foot ceilings to run them. I also see a fan pointed directly at one of them? That is a big no no. DE bulbs do not like to be cooled. I also see an 8'' ac infinity fan hooked up to a carbon filter. Your likely only moving about 200-300cfm with that setup. AC infinity fans are no good for pulling air through filters. Look into Vortex VTX fans, 10 year warranty on those boys.
If you want to run DE bulbs in a tent, you need these hoods. Sunsystem is the only one that makes air cooled hoods for DE bulbs. The bulb is completely isolated from the air cooled portion of the hood so it is able to get up to the temps it needs to get to.

With LED you want temps more like 80-83.View attachment 4787998View attachment 4787999
Put the LEDs in and am currently sitting at 71/50. Added the risers and have some nice saucers in order. Sat the lights at 18” initially and 75% power. Plants seem to be much happier now. Checked the run off on some of the plants I had concerns with and the pH had gone up to 6.5. Flushed them with 5.8 and cal/mag @ 3.75ml/gal.
Thanks for all the help guys.
Even a .50 BMG can only penetrate so far. But, but.. 1k DE penetration..?..
Alrighty then. Back to the drawing board I suppose. Or to Home Depot for a space heater. With LED you want temps more like 80-83.
Just run one of the 1000w HPS for the heat?Alrighty then. Back to the drawing board I suppose. Or to Home Depot for a space heater.

Actually was thinking about putting two in there. One at the head and one at the tail to help with coverage. Although I think once the lights are at full height I’ll be ok. Not great, but ok. With two running at 750W I’d be running at about 80-82 I think.Just run one of the 1000w HPS for the heat?
What bulb is that mate, got a link?No he is looking to improve on watts per square foot without getting to hot. He wants 1000w of HPS power out of led bulbs.
And yes, i run a philips bulb at 1100w in a 5x5 and the girls love it. This dude needs 4 of those led boards.

Its the only lamp actually rated to run 1150w. I love it.What bulb is that mate, got a link?
They were topped last week. Tops all look good. Plants have recovered from the heat/light stress and are growing. Turns out I was under watering them by half of what they were getting. Since I upped their water intake 4 days ago everything is taking back off.Have you not topped them? Use the trellis to spread them out....
