Does it have rope loops to hit pin it down with tent pegs.
Rope over the top then pin down with pegs prolly be the go.
No external loops on the one I bought, which is why I went with tent pegs to hold the bottom tube down. You could do the rope over the top thing as well (rather like wearing a belt & braces).

A lot depends on how exposed it's gonna be. I've got a replacement for my first greenhouse which has lasted 3 years, but it was kinda exposed & has broken/ripped & been repaired multiple times & should just be scrapped. The replacement one will go in a more sheltered position, but I'll still be pegging its bottom tube down just in case.

Oh ok so ya can peg tube down from inside tent?

Yea, I was just getting mine from Attitude, haven’t had to order seeds for a while, I always did bank transfer.
I think they have a bank in Spain that you pay into..
Sounds dodgey asf, but it’s legit. I’ve done it this way maybe 5 times after the new UK Regs came out a while back.

When you so you verged plants did you veg them indoors mate?

Hey All ,, Howzitgoing,,,, I felt that us Aussie growers needed a network thread.... no matter how you grow....in soil, hydro or some other way ..please feel free to post your photos and experiences with growing the plant we all LOVE.... or just introduce yourself and say Giday
I myself am in the south east of our beautiful island/continent...... and I grow mostly indoors,,,but am planning on outdoor guerrilla style grow this summer,,,,,its almost upon us...its gonna be a hot one .....bongsmilie
Friday!...I'm an indoor grower to.....my outdoor gorilla style growing went down this summer...tricky business.......had 3 big sativa and a wagon of very young clones that really performed. I got plenty of exercise moving 7 gal planters(to catch better sun) during the day, I live on a beautiful lake, rural, serene, very chill......

Yep. Through the folded-under plastic & the loop of the peg goes over the bottom frame tube. Just gotta be careful not to rip the skin when you're pegging it down & don't have any sharp edges (ie. ends of pegs) sitting hard against the outer skin.

If I remember, I'll take a photo of what I mean when I get home from work this arvo.

Fuck yea I'm getting the 6x3 mates been wanting to do a grow on his property for a few yrs that will make it easy just whack one of them up.

Do you have to chuck a rope over em an pin em down?
yeah mate, get a few ropes over it, and I put a few star pickets in the ground to anchor mine or they tend to be a giant parachute on a windy day.

He got the boot a few months ago when things got a bit "heated" in here. Other voluntary disappearances by a few of the regulars, too.:(
Beersnutts is doing OK. Has some fkn huge monsters going outside

It’s as dead as a dead dingoes dongaa in here lately even LL has vanished!
Im still about. Just not as much. Spending less time than i was on pot social media. Some other interests have kept me busy over the warmer months. I'm usually still in the politics section every day or two and usually have a read of whats going on in the aussie thread even if im not contributing.
Got a scrog in veg atm and two small outside plants looking ok.

Yep! DEFINITELY what he said!

@jzs147 here's the photo's I promised you earlier.

This girl has seen me through 3 summers & 3 winters on top of a mountain (high winds, torrential summer storms & snow-falls in winter) & is definitely destined for the knackers yard at the end of this season (if it lasts that long....), but has done me well in that time for all of about $180:

DSCN2785.JPG

The frame is completely fucked (hence the added horizontal poly-tube bracing that has punctured the cover) & I've had to cut-down a lot of the lower uprights & reinforce them with dowel inserts just to keep it standing.
DSCN2791.JPG

I initially held the external "excess" down with bricks, but that didn't work at all, so I used some 90x40 timber anchored down with tent-pegs

DSCN2790.JPGDSCN2787.JPG

Here's the lower frame tubes held-down with heavy-duty tent pegs:
DSCN2786.JPG

See what I meant by NOT having the sharp ends of the pegs in contact with the outer skin?

Again, I had to brace the horizontal frame pieces with poly-tube just to keep it up & running.

OK, so I've been a bit of a cheapskate & had to do quite a bit of DIY on it, but it's done bloody well considering the environment it's had to endure.

I've got a replacement that I'll configure differently (lower excess cover folded UNDER the bottom frame tubes & internally).

I also bought some heavy-duty pond liners to create the floor & put down some river sand down as a base before I erect it.

With these ones, they have extra length on their cover. Once the frame is up, throw the cover over and shovel a thick layer of dirt on the over hang of the cover which will weight it down.
Go around the whole outside of the green house doing this...
I’ve taken an extra precaution this time as last year I skimped a bit on the dirt and we had a storm come through and ripped the cover off.
Damaged my biggest girl.
This year I’ve placed 5 40 litre containers filled with water and shovelled dirt on the cover over hang.
She’s solid and not going anywhere!

The 6m one is what you want! You’ll need a fan of some sort at the back of the greenhouse as it will get warm back there.

I have a silent extraction fan and scrubber filter up high at the back and works a treat!

sounds like a big job jzs, but it’s really quite simple, worst part is putting in all the screws for the frame...

I can be rather stubborn.

It's all part of my growing journey, mate. I've only been growing seriously for about 3 years. Only been doing indoor hydro for 12 months....LOTS of fuck-ups have been part of that.

I learn by my fuck-ups.

I still have lots to learn.

I start outdoors from seed jzs, Would love to start indoors before season starts but veg growth is explosive and plants would be visible from everyone’s back yards lol.
2 months from seed to pre flowers gives me about a pound a plant depending on strain and upkeep.
I pushed it this season and planted a month earlier with some, 2 went into flower and revegged not long after.

Case in point:

Wonder Woman that I vegged for WAAAYYYY too long:
DSCN2792.JPG

They're growing into the light & getting burned (the one you saw in the greenhouse earlier had to be removed to the greenhouse).

I'm now contemplating re-potting them all into 3 Gal pots & setting them all up as an outside SCROG on plastic pallets with star-pickets to support the netting.

'Just contemplating stuff....
