Thinking about rdwc?

Why do I see ppl saying rdwc is difficult. Am I looking at the wrong path as far as hydroponics goes? Please share your experiences so I can weigh the pros and cons

It's not difficult, it just takes more attention and awareness. Everything happens faster in hydro so you need to stay on top of all the parameters. Other than that, once your system is dialed in, it's not as hands on. I kinda went backwards, starting with hydro, and now learning organics. Ime hydro was easier to learn.

Keep track of water temp, ph,ppm, abbey water level. There a lil more to it, but that's the basics. At least for me.

Yep. I'm keeping some moms in soil. It's easier and cheaper. Lol...I might try flowering once I get it down but I really like hydro. It's cleaner, not as stinky (bas craft blend smells like fish, ewc smells like... well... shit! Lol.... plus the speed of growing and YIELD!!!

i hear ya. i have a greenhouse for the veggies and stuff outside but hydro for the indoors for sure.

i think i would have a hard time trying to figure out and then solve issues in dirt. i like finding and fixing ASAP: seems that would be hard in dirt.

It seemed like it at first, but really as long as you feed the soil, the soil feeds the plant. Most of the leaves on my girls have never looked greener. No burnt tips, but I have noticed that the growth rate seems much slower to me. Plus my grow room stinks. I just want to see for myself eventually, if the taste, smell is any better. I'm not buying into it, but I can't say anything until I try for myself.

i'm trying some liquid kelp instead of the powder this grow. it smells like rotten eggs whenever i mix up a batch . lol .

I haven't started one yet. I wanna make sure I get the hang of it before I start posting pics of horrible looking, deficient plants that everybody will make fun of. Lol.... once I put one through flower, I'll start one. I do want to say this though, it's very interesting how it all works. Microbes eating organic material, and shitting out nutes is kind of amusing. Lol.... everything you put in the soil stinks i think. Imo the more it stinks, the better it works.

Im same, my yellow garden I call it.I still run hydro just so I know Ill get through.

When I switched to lucas formula, my plants cleared up, but there's a different look to them in organics. Almost like they're happier. It could be just me though. I pretty much stay high.
