Can I just ask how many of you Americans have actually seen a gun in real life, being carried, shot, etc by anyone other than law enforcement?

Sounds like a weird question im sure but i really think the answer is weirder.

Fellow gun nuts use holsters and don't fire warning shots in the air.... Nor do they lose their temper and shoot at authority figures, or in this case a woman enforcing the rules that literally EVERY gun shop has.
Nobody carries with a 31rd mag in a glock either.

Dude came in looking for trouble. This was probably his general direction for the day, he probably just hesitated at the door.

It's illegal to conceal a gun without a holster in most states, and even though open carry is legal, you can be charged with inciting panic.
Responsible gun owners are aware of this.

I can't really comment on that one. He should NOT have been there. The shooting was justified, but his possession of the rifle, and his presence weren't.

Yeah you can but not without a licence, which includes undergoing training in most states. An AR-15? Forget about it. Proving you need one is extremely difficult and they cost a small fortune.
