2 Questions!

I’ve changed my paint/spray room into a grow room and I’d love a little help:
Is this 4 inch fan (blowing outside) sound normal? I’d like to find something quieter if possible. I struggle to hear my self think in here
Also, any input on the cardboard box as an acceptable drying area? I’m a couple weeks out I reckon. Thank you all for your help.

Fan noise. There’s even a pinned post about it. The cheaper fans are extremely noisy. There’s some with variable speed that are better quality overall. Slowing it helps reduce fan noise. Welcome to RIU.

You have one plant catching direct wind off a fan. Leaves a flapping. It'll wind burn. Fix that.

If you can dry all the weed you're growing in that tiny cardboard box. You'll be mystical.

Yes it’s not the air-moving fans that are loud. it’s that little black 4inch extractor fan that my local grow shop sold me. No up or down just on or off. There must be better, no?

You need a ceiling fan. Either like the type you have in the living room(assuming). Or a couple of box fans hung from the ceiling. Pointed up.

The air circulation using a ceiling fan makes the tiny fans look like toys. Tools for the dead air areas after a plant gets bushy. But for overall air movement. Ceiling fan.

You could get a cheap speed controller for that 4".... And nice set up , welcome to RIU ... Cheers

I know you're not asking for advice on this but you could raise the plants off the floor to save your back and legs, as you have plenty of headspace, I even reckon you could fit a pool table in there + bar

I know you're not asking for advice on this but you could raise the plants off the floor to save your back and legs, as you have plenty of headspace, I even reckon you could fit a pool table in there + bar

I’m 100% asking for advice and you are so correct! You’ve got me thinking now about the back business. The bar will have to wait tho - I’m pushing my luck over here as is

Looks like nice effort and money in the game. Congrats. Looks like you have plants in flower and seed beginners in the same room? I am not sure where to begin but flower needs 12 hours light and seed veg plants need 18 hours light. something has to change. Is that pot in flower with buds? I can;t tell but if so congrats u have made it that far. I'll help if possible

I am a huge fan of air pots. 5 gal or 7 gal for flower. No fabric pot compares in side by side results using clones ive completed many grows using both. yeck, I changed my house plants to air pots and they love it. Results.....

you have spent money i see so hit ebay for them and thank me later. DO your own side by side grows and see.
