any pro mix users out there?

howdy there.
just wondering what you promix guys and maybe gals ph at
generally i run between 6.3-6.5 but just watching some vids on their website they are suggesting 5.5-6.0
now. ive grown for quite some time and never stray from 6.3 at the lowest. anyone going lower?

That’s all I use. I adjust to 6 or a little over.

Follow their instructions. They've spent money on their research and development. Soil sciences and whatever else they paid for.

If they're calling for 5.5-6.0. Then that's what you do. It's a particularly tight range at that. So something is up.

Thats what Im thinking,my tap is 7, seams to work for me.

hm well.my ph in the res is usually around 7.5 when i mix nutes it could be anywhere from 5.8-7.5 depending on what their getting. so thats alot of swing. im trying to get max uptake so to not build up salts and with higher. or lower ph it can cause issues with lock-out

Couple weeks ago I was at my garden centre they were planting seeds, I noticed they use BX.

i just like it holds moisture better. later in flower i dont have to water everyday

yes it does but also a bitch in the fall when it rains alot lol. good tilled in with native soil

I'm using Promix HP for the first time this grow and so far (week 8 flower) and I am loving it, plants have never looked better. I have not adjusted the pH either since everything has looked great throughout (finally). I'm using the GH Flora Trio and I'm happy with this combo so far.

i was actually pretty sure hp promix main advantage was not needing to correct ph. Anyways, it grows really well, it's better than soil, but less trouble than coco especially when you don't have/want proper equipement

I have been growing in pro-mix so long every square inch of my property has perlite on it

Ea bail can be different,good practice to do a ph paste test prior to use.
