Are my plants underwatered or overwatered??

A tiny plant, likely none. I did not mention an imbalance, I mentioned salt build ups from nutes and dry coco. The imbalances will happen later in life when it is drinking much more.

Imbalance is caused be the plant eating more of certain nutrients. Is this the issue with soil, right? Runoff is to flush out the overabundance of what the plant didn't eat, which is why coco is nice. You want runoff whenever you feed your plants. That is true. I personally flood mine so I don't have that problem. I also hit them with a light feed about once a week.

Yes but you likely wont get imbalances in a tiny little plant, that is more likely when they are bigger and eating much more. Salt buildup happens at all sizes when you let your coco dry. 2 different issues.

See theres a little boy, went by the name of autofire,
Tried to grow weed, man god loves a trier,
Little bit of feed and an extra light,
But them Poor little autoflowers just couldnt reach there height,
See he tried and he tried, but got basil then Bush, man like autofire has had enough
Reflected his frustration by giving out abuse,
Go to the charity shop kid they will find you a use

Salt build up expediates when it dries. It was already building up if you weren't flushing, regardless of moisture level.
