yo, clean up the grow room alittle bit and add alittle bit more lightting if ya can. you dont HAVE to clean it up... but I would... makes it more presentable and it will keep pests away =P

Add what lighting?

I already have spots for 12 CFL's at a 100 watt equivalency, 6500 K and a 150 watt HPS for 4 plants........

You are right it is a little messy, but ijust got done building when i took the pics, I promise it looks better now.

Another question for you guys......
Do you guys happen to have a good shot of how you build the screen or netting above the plants to grow through for a SOG or SCROG grow? I can't find a good way to do it anywhere.....

haha ya bro its simple as pie... its just chicken wire... just put it over it I THINK about... a foot away from the pots... but dont qoute me on that... but I do know its chicken wire =)

I'm gonna keep it as low to the pots as possible to allow more plant to be on the wire, and get more coverage.....any thoughts?

I would try maybe 6" no less... if you go less you might suffocate them and stunt their growth...

Looking good, plants are a bit droopy, did you just water them? As well you want that HPS to be less than a foot from the plants.

I had it at 12" and decided to drop it to about 8" now. The plants seem to like it better there.....!!!

I will soon be adding a 400 watt MH fixture in here to replace the HPS, is this a good idea or bad?

My cabinet is an old filing cabinet with a flip up top that opens to a storage area the size of the top drawer. My specs are as follows:

(2) 125 watt compact flouro.'s
(1) PC fan exhaust
LOL!!! White printer paper
(1) dish washing tray- (wal mart $2.00)
Soil- Miracle Grow soil from lowes



I have my babies on an 18/6 light schedule and plan on adding more 60 watt compacts on the sides for more all around light.

I'm currently in my first week under the lights and can't wait to see these babies grow!!!!!



This is my second attempt at growing, my first was cancelled short due to an angry ex-girlfriend!!!

Please add any comments or suggestions, i need all the help i can get!!!

Yup, check out my most recent pics., I have already moved and upgraded to another spot. I will be doing a SCROG in this cabinet because i think it is the best method for these in this space.

I still need to find a good idea for making cooltubes, the plans i found are hard to follow......any ideas?

Got the things transplanted tonight into 3 gallon buckets. I hope they take off a little more now. I also had my first encounter with little flying friends today. I have some little tablets that go in the dirt, we;ll see how they work.
Had the power go out about an hour into the lights being on this morning, do i need to worry about that?
Other than that they look good, and i'll have pics up by sunday!

Well, they seemed to like the transplant, and the tablets for bugs. They blew up over night, but i have a few questions.....

1. I started flushing with clean water two days ago, and plan to add nutes again on sunday or monday.
The nutes i have are:
1. Miracle Grow (20-20-20-)
2. Kick start (1-2-1)
3. Mother earth tea (4.93-1.90-4.40)

What do you recommend i use as a cycle with these, or which should i use now untill i flower?

Also....

2. I topped my plants like two weeks ago, does that mean they won't get any taller, just bushier? Or will they still get taller and how much?

for vegetation use anything high in N, pee, fish emulsion, anything.

for flowering you want to P, and K. for this its best to go buy a fert. gives you worthwhile results.

out of the three id say go buy some alaskan fish fert for like 3 bucks and use the mother earth tea for flowering.

id advise you get better flowering nutes.
