The whole time i thought that you clone by taking a cutting from a branch that was connected to the main stem, but i saw a video and the man cut the main stem about 3 to 4 nodes from the top.
So your cutting the main stem, not the stems coming from the main stem, because if you did, that would be the fan leaves right? and you cant clone fan leaves?

i've never cloned, but.. the way it sounds ..
if you did it the way that guy did, yes you just topped, and made a clone from it. 2 stems will grow back in the place of that one he cut. and he has a clone from the plant.

too keep um short...u can use it as a clone what i do is i top it one leaf set down. then ina couple days the two flowers that got bigger cus now there the TWO main kolas. anyways. top it again another set of leaves. so now you got a clone with two kolas on it already :) or just take clones from the flowers on the lower part of the plant. couple at a time. movin your way up. or do what i said to get two kolas. aight. you know the nodes. the flower growing between stalk and fan leaf? u cut that near the stalk. or if its long enough and has a couple sets of fan leaves on itself. cut it at the second set of leaves. think of a clone as one of the buds chopped off the plant at a 45 degree angle with steralized scissors. do have a pictureof your plant?

oh ok, i get it. so basically im cutting one of the branches near the main stem. so these are the stems with just one leaf. i thought these were called fan leaves

whoa somebody stole half my name..... yo i said cut the flowers that stat growing up towards the light. cut it at the stalk or at the point where more flowers are gonna grow....

okay so if this is the case, you can only take one clone at a time from each plant, since your cutting the main stem?

no ........ let your plant grow for about 40 days. and you will see what the "flowers" are..... they are pretty much seperate plants growing off the main stalk. you just gotta give um sometime to actualy appear. i have no pic.. sorry.

you can clone any part of the plant you want. Its just best to look for shoots that arent woody. You want soft tissue...roots alot quicker.
