Yeah I suffered issues with N because of no run off, heavier or lighter feeders and an open space where light intensities vary more. They are very good but need a specific setup that I was unable to cater too. Multiple res was one fix, but I couldn't be bothered with having to do that.!00% correct, when I used blumats in coco the results were way better than hand watering. Problem is they can be a pain in the ass to calibrate, but once they are I think it is the best method for coco. You can get the same results in ebb n flow by using hydroton as medium and flooding table every 2 hours.
I am thinking of a drip system next, some run off will mean N won't build up in the lighter feeders and can be done with only 1 res.
