With the increasing diversity that is going on in the US, the police lies about their brutality that are revealed due to cell phone records and now, your kind's belly flop when you tried to overthrow our government, it's just a matter of time before we prevail.

As for 'your block', how many people live on it? I think average here is about 1400 people. I have about 50 people max on my block and I hear guns going off all the time.

Nobody is dismissing anyone killed, it is a very real problem.

Unfortunately we live in a nation that has pushed our minority communities into small areas. And then through legislation, almost all the benefits of the economy kept out of these regions while simultaneously underfunding the necessary things like cleaning up the pollution left behind as white people fled to the suburbs, and that all contributes to a very unsafe environment.

All of this means that bad people who would use violence to get what they want can do a lot of damage very easily to a lot of people. So of course there is a much higher level of crime.

Making sure that everyone here is at least safe from the main group of people we collectively hire to protect us should not be a political 'sides' issue.
