I always keep my seedlings / clones under a T5 for as long as possible because it's almost impossible to harm them as long as they don't touch the bulbs.. Also definitely too wet. Flick them downward with a hard stop, like an elevator falling, to remove the excess water. Not hard enough to injure the stalks though. And just keep them about that moist. Water them often, flick out the excess, and put them under the T5 until you have a lot of roots jumping out of the bottom. Then do the same flick thing with the bigger rockwool blocks once you transplant them. You really want as little water as possible until they get fairly big.

look fine to me.... your not being patient enough...or even close. How many days old are they ?

Put that light on the ceiling and turn it down to 20% or something. You need hardly any light to get them going and healthy. 1 single 9 watt home bulb is plenty of light for a week or 3.

Would even 10% light be better? Or 20% is fine?

Doing that with the little ones. No problem. The bigger ones though are going to be covered with black/white poly so i don't have algea.

4 days. Yes , you have zero reason to worry yet, everything is fine , just follow hydro instructions from here.

So visually i should wait until the cotyledon start to come back up? Since i probably over watered them

Im saying you did nothing wrong at all...yet. they look absolutely normal. Follow these other guys instructions from here. they are not over watered yet but will be very very soon if you keep them soaked.

The cotyledon or whatever the first leaves are , do not need to "come up" . They almost always look saggy. The first real set of leaves might reach up a bit but its not a bad thing if they dont. Keep them slightly moist , then re pot. Good to go .

I have 640w lights on full strength at 34 inches or so. I have the fan on the inside and the intake fan going. Its 89 degrees in there with 40% humidity. Am i just better off taking them out and putting them under t5 lights until they are way more healthy?

That's a good idea, but at least do it before you transplant them. I would suck a little water out of them with a shop vac when I used 4" rockwool cubes. Just real quick, like 2 seconds max, to pull out the excess. If the medium is too wet the roots won't want to grow, so the plant just sits there all sad looking.

Thank you. Gardening is supposed to be relaxing. Im getting there. Want to get my first grow behind me so i can see where i need to improve. I won't be happy with small yields. Im hard on myself like that.

Soooo. Update. I have my VPD pretty close. But i got to thinking. Im doing hydro. My plants can't survive with no nutrients. So i mixed all 3 at 1/3 strength. The leaves have gotten bigger pretty much overnight. And some new roots out of the bottom of a couple cubes. We will see what happens in the next few days. Hopefully it gets a little taller and the leaves start growing apart and another set or two.

The cubes still look too wet, when you handle rock wool you need to make sure you don’t squish it, that one looks squished. I still recommend watering them with a spray bottle, one spray is enough. I would put them in the medium if the tap root is coming out, continue to water with a spray bottle.

Your an idiot! Of course those aren't 6 inch rockwool cubes. They are 1.5's. Im getting ready to put them into 6 inch. And thats why someone does flood and drain. So they don't have to water with a fucking spray bottle. Sounds like your either less experienced than i am. Drunk. Or you didn't read my post correctly before you decided to comment. Try again. Slap them thangs into 6" and carry on. You dont need to "see" the roots. Light will burn them.....the older ones will die and new ones will grow. Put um into the 6" rockwool and do your hydro thing. I wouldnt fiddle with them anymore. There are plenty of roots coming out.
