Back for help. Curious about what to start my seeds in for the beginning of their lives? I know I want to use organic soil but not sure what to use for planting seeds. I’m looking for something that all I have to do is water and add food additionally if need be. Been thinking about Roots Organics. Let me know what you all think or suggestions. Thanks

I germinate in water. Start in starter trays with a 50/50 coco-coire and organic starter mix. Once established I put the plugs in a custom organic mix. Just my thing. But too close to exceptional to change here.

Has anyone used SoHum soil? If so what was your results like? Did you actually only have to water only like it says?

Just an update to my method. Dropped these at about 8PM EST. 14 hours I had my first tail. Now at around 40 hours I have this. Grabbing my coco mix and planting a few today. And my use of H2O2 spritz provides extra O2 and sterility. No drowning or rot upto 7 days per fill with tap water.
It is easy. And solid intact tails before planting give better plants for me than paper towel or direct sow. LOL.

I just use city water from my work, plenty of chlorine to keep the nasties away . I have well water at home so I can't use it for anything plant related without Introducing all sorts of deficiencies.

I'm in michigan and some people have problems and others don't, I'm surrounded by corn fields which doesn't help.

SW here. And wells are pretty bad from industry and orchards as well as crops. South of me the iron is off the charts. Have to go north of Newaygo to get safe natural water now days. And my city spikes the PH in late May - June to kill the home grows since legalization. Always test your water before use is the moral of the story.
