I've downloaded star tracker I'll be ready for it in the morning lol.

I know absolutely nothing about star gazing but I've always been fascinated by stars and planets, I've owned a couple of telescopes but they don't have the image quality or magnification I'm after, I'm looking for something like the hubble lol.


This is earth from 3.7 billion miles away, Nasa turned the voyager one cameras towards earth before it disappeared into the void of space.

Earth is the dot in the outside red line, how clever are the people that can make that happen...

for us yes, but he's in Northern Europe, so wouldn't that be a morning star then.....

I've a few over the years a couple of tascam, a bresser and a leupold, I've also a soft spot for microscopes that's another interesting field.

Don’t Tascam specialize in pro audio?
I’ve not heard of Bresser.
I’ve only heard of Leupold in the context of hunter’s optics.

Any models I might search to orient myself?

The telescope body was German made with optics from leupold, give me a minute I've got photos of it somewhere.
