Thanks. I was going to do my best to keep the soil on the roots as best as I can. I will definitely try a spoon or ladle!Try a ladle or large spoon and keep the coco with the root

Please and next time even paper cups are a better option for seedlingsThanks. I was going to do my best to keep the soil on the roots as best as I can. I will definitely try a spoon or ladle!
Ok sweet. Please and next time even paper cups are a better option for seedlings
Well it kinda is common among folks who grow in beds and no-tillers. Once I drove past a field in southern Ontario and they literally had what looked to be a million plants in one bed. It was 50 acre hempfield. LolWhy are you placing multiple plants in one pot?
This isn't common
I love when no matter what you say, someone comes up with "this one time at band camp"Well it kinda is common among folks who grow in beds and no-tillers. However if you use 15 gallons for 1 plant, it doesn't mean you can grow 2 plants to the same size in 15 gallons. 30 would work. Limited growing medium is obviously an issue for all involved.
Bu? As in Malibu?Hi everyone.
First time grower here.
I picked up some Bu's blend potting soil mix at my local hydroponics store. I was looking for SoHum living soils or Michigan mix M3. I've followed a few growers and breeders on IG that use this in their organic grows. I wastn able to find this where I live locally without ordering it.
I plan on doing a soil and water only grow. Indoor with LED lights. Trying to keep it as imple as I can.
Soil set up so far is
- Bu's blend potting soil
- pearlite for increased drainage
Will this set up work for a simple organic grow?
Yes.Bu? As in Malibu?
Dude honestly this guy is a straight ass, every post he’s on he’s berating the Op, in the form of “help”Bad method
Tiny hairs on roots of seedling get damaged transplanting seedlings usually leading to stunted plants
Good luck but trust me people don't do that for a reason not because they have extra pots
Yes it’s hot but you know this, just read through the thread.Yes.
Do you have any experience with it?
No. Currently they are in 70% coco/30% roots organic soil. Are they still in that mix?
No repotting was fine, they may have a little stress and settle in time. But I’d still recommend grabbing a microbe drench.No. Currently they are in 70% coco/30% roots organic soil.
Yesterday I added a small amount of the BU's blend to the top. Maybe 1/2inch or less as a top dress. I know the coco/ soil blend will eventually run lean for nutrition. If this wasn't a good idea I can remove it tomorrow.
Still a newbie so any advice really helps. That coco and soil blend was a game changer so far.
I use filtered tapwater. No repotting was fine, they may have a little stress and settle in time. But I’d still recommend grabbing a microbe drench.
do u use tap to water? If so what’s it’s ph and ppm plain?
When they are light it’s too dry for living soil. They should keep a stable 50-75% water content in order to keep the microbiology alive. That’s where the watering every other day at 5-10% pot volume and giving them two days off on the weekend comes into play in keeping your soil alive and able to properly manage ph, and nutrient/root exchangeI use filtered tapwater.
Zero water filter.
Previous ppm was like 350ish
PH here is just about 6.5. Plus or minus 0.1ish
Current soil in pots
Is 70/30 coco/soil.
2 pots have the thin top layer of bu's blend. On top of the 70/30.
Watering schedule has been about when the pots start feeling light.

What will your final pot size be?Thanks for that advice!!!
I will water them im the morning!!!!
Definitely trying to keep the soil alive.
I think 2 or 3 gallon. What will your final pot size be?
I had to water my 7gal pots every day but never went above 5%I think 2 or 3 gallon.
Tent is 2x2x4.
Lots of training ahead. And the goal is to only have 2 plants in flower in there. Gonna scrog and hope for the best.
