Has anyone ever topped runny away colas in flower to even out tops?
I’m scrogging and am snapping the occasional top. I’m almost 2 weeks into 12/12 so not a massive issue but if you need to lower anything just tie it down like @Herb & Suds says.Has anyone ever topped runny away colas in flower to even out tops?
Yes. WhyEver heard of supercropping?
This is my tent gentlemen.. I was just curious. If there's. An suggestioins... I was him a wait till stretch is. Done.defoliate heavy. And through a net on? 2nd. Pics. Run away stretch... although I am flowering it 10 14. Instead of 12. 12View attachment 4915390View attachment 4915391
Look at the reply under my first one. That’s why. Supercropping can take care of runaway plants and help even out the canopy.Yes. Why

Too tall and approaching the light with nowhere to tie is just one scenario. Why would you want to cut off flower growth?
There is some cannabis broscience about topping buds to increase yields but it's just nonsense.
Leave the damn plants alone and let them grow. Stop staring at them for hours. Go for a walk or something.
Haha. It doesn't seem to lessen harvest and it saves electric.10/14. You are an innovator. People will follow you for years to come.
Haha. I have found some bro science to work well. Such a schwazing although it does seem to work better on high leaf ratio plants..Why would you want to cut off flower growth?

U said harvest before last.. did u try it again last harvest.. I mean double yield is seriousMy crop before last, the plant in the middle stretched after netting at 21 days so into week 4 it was still stretching lf.
I won't accommodate a tall plant at the expense of the others so that left one option the pruning shears,
I cut down every top to the nearest canopy height node, FF 90 days the average was was around 4oz per plant the one I topped every branch on was 8oz/234g iirc...fluke or predictable idk?
No I've not tried it again I've not had the opportunity, the crop after was already planned and shaped by the time I was aware of it, this cycle is only a single plant I'm burnt out from pheno hunting, the next time will be seed I might get a chance to try it again then.U said harvest before last.. did u try it again last harvest..
