Tesla opening an “old-school drive-in, roller skates and rock restaurant at one of the new supercharger locations in Los Angeles?”Elon needs to hire some hot chicks to work as lot lizards.
damn, that mo-fo is always one step ahead of me.Tesla opening an “old-school drive-in, roller skates and rock restaurant at one of the new supercharger locations in Los Angeles?”

And we didn't turn to kerosene because we ran out of whales. We did it because the light was better. We will turn to EV's when the majority of folks think they are better than what came before.we used to hunt whales for fuel oil......were making progress

IMO it's a race to use up all the fossil fuels in the world. iv'e been to the middle east: without oil they are just a large a sandbox. then it becomes a battle of the superpowers again. in my lifetime??? nope. And we didn't turn to kerosene because we ran out of whales. There is going to have to be some smart folks work out what kind of stores these charge stations can maintain. 20 minutes is a long fillup. Maybe fast food or an arcade.Tesla opening an “old-school drive-in, roller skates and rock restaurant at one of the new supercharger locations in Los Angeles?”

the low cost of $10 for a fillup might ease the pain of 20min waitThere is going to have to be some smart folks work out what kind of stores these charge stations can maintain. 20 minutes is a long fillup. Maybe fast food or an arcade.
Change is hard. Oil is working now, so it will continue to be the leading fuel for the next 20-30 years. Unless we move to tax levels we reserve for the poor, (lottery, beer and cigarettes) the change will be slow. If we were to slap 100% tax on all ICV's, sales of EV's would take off.IMO it's a race to use up all the fossil fuels in the world. iv'e been to the middle east: without oil they are just a large a sandbox. then it becomes a battle of the superpowers again. in my lifetime??? nope.
if we quit subsidizing fossil fuel, EV's would be the only choice.Change is hard. Oil is working now, so it will continue to be the leading fuel for the next 20-30 years. And I've been saying for 20-30 years that oil is not going to run out anytime soon. We are getting better at finding and pumping it.
I took part in a little of the oil related flag flying. It's a hidden cost to most.if we quit subsidizing fossil fuel, EV's would be the only choice.

Canada tar sands and US fracking get me spun up real quick. If it involves humans and removing materials buried underground, there's a 100% chance it's going to fuck up the environment.Change is hard. Not when a fillup is only 20 dollars, takes only 3 minutes and gives you 400 miles of travel.the low cost of $10 for a fillup might ease the pain of 20min wait
Not to mention the 1000’s of abandoned wells that pepper the land that corporations walked away from. If the true cost of all the shit it causes was added there would be a huge interest in cleaner fuels.Canada tar sands and US fracking get me spun up real quick. That's it in a nutshell. Also how are electric vehicles going to help us combat climate change when the electricity being generated to power them is still being generated by coal, oil and gas burning power stations. We're just moving the goal posts from the gas station to the arguably more polluting power station.
