Why did my Girl Scout Cookie do this already

There are strains that are considered semi-autoflowering and will flower without a 12/12 light schedule. These are not strains that have been bred with ruderalis. Some of the Middle Eastern landrace strains are semi-autoflowering.

There is also a Siberian strain that contains levels of THC much higher than a standard ruderalis. Although it's likely that the Siberian is a hybrid with ruderalis genetics in it's lineage.

"This Siberian accession is a resinous, day-neutral (autoflowering) intermediate type direct from Chelyabinsk, close to Kazakhstan."

Syrian:
Characteristics: Early, hardy, Indica and Sativa types, aromatic, semi-autoflowering, CBD

Morrocan Ketama:
Characteristics: Resinous, short, very fast flowering, semi-autoflowering

Egyptian Sinai:
Characteristics: Early maturing, semi-autoflowering, hardy, unique terpenes, Indica- and Sativa-type morphology

Lebanese:
Characteristics: Early maturing, compact, resinous, columnar and spherical variants, semi-autoflowering, high CBD

I've grown Ketama and some of the plants started flowering under 18/6 while still in veg. Ruderalis is not the only cannabis that can autoflower. It's just what's used by breeders making autoflower seeds. The semi-autoflower strains may or may not exhibit early flowering which is likely why ruderalis is so widely used. But it should be possible through selection to breed a semi-autoflowering strain that flowers early consistently. I do know that some of these strains have been used by some to produce early finishing strains that can be harvested in northern areas with short growing seasons.

I currently have seeds from all of the strains I listed above. I have future plans to reproduce all of those seeds to have enough stock to go through and search for plants that exhibit the autoflowering tendency in order to use them in crosses instead of using ruderalis. One of the reasons I don't care for auto's is because of the ruderalis genetics. I don't grow auto's often but the ones I have grown have been lacking compared to the Photoperiod plants I grow. There also seems to be a high leaf to calyx ratio with many autos that I don't care for. So many of the auto's people post photos of look very unappealing with so much leaf matter comprising a good portion of the flower.

Any of these you know of that went into the Nirvana Ak48 photo genetics that this other guy is talking about?

personally I haven’t commented about The auto side of things as personally I’m not versed enough to comment about whether strains when I was 16 would auto flower regardless of light cycle.

just wondering is all buddy.

Damn your dishing a lot of bullshit with no back up. most of the ppl here live in a place where its illegal and they’ll put you under the jail for a while but still post. So you worked at a hydro store putting together aero systems that makes you a number one dipshit. 3 lbs off a single 600 watt light come on man please I’d love to see such magic. So according to your profile your 41 you’ve been growing according to you since 96 so you were 16 when you started? In an illegal state or country? And you get 3 lbs off a 600 watt hps light. Wonders never cease around here. Are you able to turn water into wine or walk on water too?
I turn water into nutrient water.

AK-48 is just Nirvana's reproduction of AK47. They have both a photoperiod available in regular and feminized and an autoflower that ruderalis was used in.

The guy that said AK-48 sometimes autoflowers is probably just confusing the autoflower version with the photoperiod version.

Genetics: The breeders at Nirvana were able to create a solid autoflowering line by crossing AK48 x Ruderalis. We wanted to enhance the flowering time to suit outdoor growers, and were able to do so by creating an autoflowering hybrid that can be harvested 11-13 weeks after planting. AK48 Auto is a tough, resistant strain like its mother so can take hot days and cold nights very well, making her perfect for balcony, terrace and outdoor growing. A low profile aroma means AK-48 Auto is an excellent choice for growers who require discretion.
