My first whole room SCRoG

Couple of pics from last night.

by adding the support pot to the feed line the flow has increased massively but I’m getting more even flow too.

Now I need to adjust flow to minimum and time it again.

I have some 13mm ID ground stakes for anchoring the flexi tube to now once it hits the pots.

I’ve also ordered some 4mm 360sprayers to see whether these will work better As they also have an adjustable flow on them and I can insert them into my new rings as I haven’t hole punched the new rings i made yet.

I’m thinking 2 per ring ( ordered x10)

then I can adjust both flow rate for pump and flow rate of the Dripper/sprayer.

Should really be a manifold after the tee, this will make even pressure.
I’m slowly learning this lol.

There are few different things I’m trying lol.

the main point of this was to ease my feeding routine as it was very labour intensive with me filling a container and hand pumping it out.

as long as I have adjustability between flow rate of the pump and possibly the sprayers I can adjust flow rate to even the flow to each sprayer etc.

im looking to achieve runoff starting out of each pot together after 15mins of Run time.

if I get there this way I can then advise someone else when a basic component list of what’s needed to replicate the setup.

Something else I am considering is just single pipe from the res with 4mm micro hose and adaptors punched into the 13mm with an end stop on the end of supply where they are needed etc.

depends whether this works etc.

like I said though it’s already better For me as I’m just switching on a pump and making sure runoff begins and then turning the pump off lol.

right ok thanks for the help.

as this is a work in progress I’ll bare that in mind for any alterations I decide to make etc.

the hardest part for me is that locally I have no grow shops so I have to rely on reading an advert on a website etc or eBay in order to work out what I’m doing lol.

Definitely something I will look into though.

1 ring across all plants.

branch off with 4mm micro adaptors to Drippers in pots.

The other issue in the U.K. is this.

grow shops are usually open between 10am-5pm.

great for those who don’t work and earn their money through illegal dealing.

for the hobbyist who does it to grow their own smoke you finish work and can’t get there by the time they close lol.

Working a treat.

After 15mins runoff was achieved out of both plants.

I adjusted the drippers until I had approx even flow through each one (by eye) they twist open and closed.

pump is set to minimum flow.

Timer is now set to feed 10-10:15pm and 4-4:15am during my lights on time 9pm-9am

Checked in this morning before heading to work.

timer has run successfully and has not over flowed my catch bowl.

In fact I think I am going to increase fertigation and run it 3x a day 10pm, 2am, 6am.

so I will make that switch tonight.

once I’m happy with fertigation/runoff I’ll be able to leave this for a day or 2 without even popping in to check anything which is exactly what I wanted to achieve too.

So I’ve managed to ease my labour intensive watering schedule, while also allowing me the ability to not even check the room if I don’t feel like it lol.

Whoop whoop.
