hi everyone..
thank you all for your previous responses. after switching over to the better batch of maxibloom, i believe my plants are responding well, however, still my lower leaves continue to get damaged everytime i water.
below ive attached pics of another plant having pretty much the same conditions as the earlier one i had posted for convenience to determine the problem. pls see and advise..
ive ruled out any deficiencies because i believe maxibloom has pretty much everything required for good growth and im feeding 500-600ppm ph5.8-6. i would not like to debate on the efficiency of maxibloom so pls lets leave that out of this..
ive got magnesium and calcium deficiencies before on the same plant (due to messing around with cal nit and epsom unnecessarily) so magnesium deficiency is ruled out on the pics as ive seen the symptoms on this plant and its corrected. it cant be nitrogen either cause the veins remain dark green. i could only think of potassium but then again the progress of the deficiency isnt the same as ive googled and seen on pics and maxibloom has enough of it. so id like to think if its a case of overwatering/ onset of root rot...how do youll think?
the tips begin to soften/grey out and then get crispy with spots. the situations begins to worsen every 2 hrs after watering. i remember growing in dwc ive faced similar symptoms on leaves when dealing with rot but would like your opinions.
my mix is 5 parts coco: 1 part perlite and im feeding twice a day. temps are between 30-32c and humidity 80% (rainy season). when i run the ac humidity drops to 60% and temps 26c. i run the ac every 2 hrs. since its only the lower leaves, i doubt my lights have anything to do with this.
being my 1st coco grow, i thought i couldn't over water. when ive flushed before with copious amounts of water, the leaves didnt droop overall. however, my lower leaves are always down (not drooping totally)
id like to know considering my conditions, how do i go about watering the plant?
currently im thinking to cut down watering twice a day to once a day and adding the following with every watering to deal with rot if any...https://www.utkarshagro.com/product/fung-free/
im afraid to dry out the medium for more than a day because of the apparent rise in ec but would like your opinions on this matter..
cheers!
