Thanks bro. I still need to find that happy medium but I'm sure it will be better smoke this time around. I don't like all the dead leaves but still learning. I think I will start higher ppm around 1k sooner next round. Most times I was only at 700ish ppm. The buds look and smell better in every way tho. They are dense nuggets too. I really like the stripping technique under the canopy. These buds exploded larger and denser than last round. Branches that are like 6 inches from support are hanging completely over. These branches are weak af.

Day 76. Some of these are just about there. Idk if the far reds are working but it seems like it. I had some buds starting to foxtail also. First time ever seeing those on my own plants. I pinched one and it smelled of grape candy...I was impressed. It looks like a mess again with these wispy branches. Nice fat buds tho. Dense as fuck. Fell behind with food and never really caught up. Prob start a little higher next round. Veg tent is truckin along still. Almost ready to raise the light to the max height. I think we have about 2 weeks left.

Bought two of the HLG UVA 30 watt lights. On sale for $150 and I had a $100 gift card. Cost me $105 per light shipped. Will install them next round. I'm gonna pull some plants today after work which is day 81. Others will prob be next weekend.

My artisanal gelato #1 is kicking ass. #2 is in the back right. Flowering will interesting with those two. I still have the 3rd Nut Butter in a small cup that needs transplant. Just have no room. Its already sitting on two containers to get above the canopy. Had to raise the light as well. Now its no longer adjustable. It can go a few inches higher if I wrap the cables but that's it. Hope its not needed.

Cut down the rest of those ILGM plants on day 87. They've been drying for a week now a its the same as before w/o the bad taste from over nuting. Feels like a huge waste of time and money. Not sticky. Not smelly. They don't taste as bad as before but its garbage, straight up. It reminds me of the shit they sell legally. Its embarrassing honestly. My buddy has three of them outdoors and I told him to not get his hopes up. He will fuck up the drying process anyhow so it doesn't really matter.

I cleaned the flower tent last weekend and installed the UV lights. Moved the 9 plants I had in veg to the flower tent last night. I have the smallest Nut Butter still in the veg tent. I will try to flower this one in my veg tent and see what happens. This will be the last round as the flower tent needs to be taken down to do some bedroom renovations. Once that is over we will start up again. We will not be flowering or drying in the summer anymore. Its just too hot and my parents don't like keeping their house cool like normal people. I'll prob try it at my place tho even tho its much more risky. I fucking hate to fail.

If this round ends up like anything the last two did, I will seriously consider what the fuck I'm doing wrong. First round was too much nutes and the second seemed to be not enuf. The two before that had spider mites from dirty clones. Glad to say that prob hasn't resurfaced at all. 4 rounds of plants which have been over a year plus with NO (good) weed to show for it.

Need to repot all of them soon. Then get a net over them to spread the branches out. They were so packed in the veg tent that several plants need to be opened up and straightened out. Nothing has been topped or cloned either. Fuck it.

Keep your head up Romu! It’s a learning process, not something that happens overnight. You still have some weed, even if it’s not the best. You have time to tweak things and figure it out on the next one. Just get a bit better each time and you’ll be knocking it out of the park in no time.

I'm using FFOF soil with extra perlite in 7 gal for flowering and usually 2 gal for veg. I also started mixing in some worm castings as well. Veg nutes are GH grow mostly. I bought a few that I used in previous outdoor grows but hardly incorporate them. The one I've used most is the cal/mag during flower. Here is my tub O' shit. I have to get more grow and forgot when I just got the soil yesterday.


I used to measure out a tiny bit this and that during different periods of growth. Ultimately I got lazy and just used grow which hasn't shown any worrisome signs during veg thus far. Plus like most people say, using less is more right? lol

For flower I've been using Maxibloom throughout and then switching to FF Zulu Charlie(4-35-26) at the end. I had used the veg version called Gringo Rasta before and worked well. I'm open to switching any nutes and have been pondering the idea for awhile. My local shop carries a bit of everything. I had been wanting to try Jacks but idk.

Veg nutes are about 4-500ppm in full swing. Flower starts at about 600ppm and then ramped up to 900ish if the plants can take it. Mostly keep it around 800. Feedings are every other watering which usually lasts about 3 days. Tent is set for 82F day and night. It reaches 90 at points here in the summer which I why I added an AC to the room. Prob will end up using less lights when this round is done. I think its pushing my heat limits with 1600 watts total. Not running them at full power tho. More like 85-90ish%.

Now this is what I'm directing my step father to do. The flower tent is at my parents and the veg tent at mine. I don't think he fudges the numbers but he definitely could just look at them more often. I've went over there several times and found them being thirsty af and his response always is "I was just about to go in there" LOL.

Put up both sides of net today. Noticed that one of my UV lights looks like it isn't working. Will email HLG to get that figured out. I will be super cropping those AGs soon. They are almost at the lights with no stretch yet. Will have to keep them away from the fans too. I accidentally repotted one of the DSxCTB before if I know its a fem or not. They are both in the front by the dehu to make it easier to pull out if male.

Day 8.
The stretch is on. Supper cropped a few branches by the fans already. Those Nut butters are very tight with not much lateral branching except for the pheno that someone said looked heavy on the OGKB side. I believe that one is front left first pic. I'm gonna put up another set of nets tmrw before it gets out of control. Somehow I got lucky and the smallest plant ended up being a male. Took that out a few days ago and put it in the back yard. Prolly cull it soon but it does like that overcast, smoky air.

Supper cropping all over the place. Tallest plants grown in the tent by far and zero room to adjust lights. Added another net layer tonight. I underestimated this bunch. I will be taking down some lower straggler branches soon but it will be ok for now. I hope I don't cook the mfers in the lights. I might have to do some ninja shit and adjust the power supplies one by one....

I had a feeling that ILGM might not give me what I was looking for. I wanted to give them a chance tho as I had 40 fem seeds. I will say it was the very first seed purchase I made and they got me lol. As of now I've built a 385 strain collection of breeders that are well known and respected. I know I still don't have growing down yet but I don't think I fucked it up that bad this last round to get what I got. Idk tho so I'll keep making adjustments and see what I get.

Hey bro if you have any suggestions for anything lay it on me. I am not embarrassed to say I could use advice on any part of my grow lol. I look at a lot of people that grow here and try to emulate the ones with good looking setups and buds. Make a few changes based on the equipment that I have and let her rip. After this round the main thing I would like to build is a frame for the lights so I can get optimal canopy distance at all times. I also want to get a Pulse environment controller so I can get more detailed. Have to get that damn charcoal filter up on the ceiling too so I can remove that shelf in the back right that was holding it previously. Little this and that.

Plants look healthy, keep up on the super cropping and you’ll be fine I think.

Day 18.
I cut off a lot under the canopy today. This round doesn't have as full of a canopy as last time so I left a few more lowers that are getting the light. I wanted to remove the UV bar that is not working on the left side and replace it with a new one HLG sent me but its impossible w/o fucking something up. I emailed them back and said its there to stay until the crop is done lol.
Have only been giving them water so far. They all got repotted with FFOF and worm castings so they are feeding from that. Will prob pick up a light feeding in about a week or so. Gonna try to go really light with nutes this round. The plants look much healthier and it think it started to get nute lockout at the end of last round. I think that was my main prob of still having too much nutes.

They don't seem to be stretching anymore. I didn't feel the need to super crop anything today. I didn't notice any signs of light burn either. I would say the Nut Butters and the DSx79CTB are the furthest along. Not much of smells but good stem rubs from all. Cant describe most but I like the danky burnt rubber.
