I’m thinking of getting a 4x4 and I read the max you can hit is 2 pounds if your strain is right. I was wondering what wattage I’ll need to be able to come remotely close to that number.
I done that once. Had 10 duck eggs came back to the uk to find out all of them had died, along with the parents.600 minimum imo
But never count your chickens before they hatch
I was thinking of a zeus 600Imo id want 6-650 actual min but
Goid luck on your 2 pounds if you can’t keep damn chickens aliveI done that once. Had 10 duck eggs came back to the uk to find out all of them had died, along with the parents.
Tbh I’d be over the moon if I got 850 grams. Could you tell me what led you was using and the price please?.
The last grow I measured weights I got 850 grams (1.87 pounds) with a 1000 watt led in a 4x4 tent.

I've got a Black Dog Phytomax 2 and I love it, but I'm very impressed with the Scorpion Diablo. Great light footprint.Tbh I’d be over the moon if I got 850 grams. Could you tell me what led you was using and the price please?

Maybe geese?Heyyy come on now life’s life some don’t make it can’t blame it on me. Also they were ducks not chickens or maybe swans fuck knows tbh
Ima do 4-5 plants hoping that they literally take over the whole tent, so working space for me is basically having to take out the whole pot jus to feed the damn thing lollipop ping is gonna be a pain in the ass that’s for sure. The general rule of thumb is 40-50 W of LED per sqft of canopy. Note that "canopy" does not include walking or work space, just plant, so you'll have to figure out how to arrange your 4x4 to suit your needs. With ~50W/sqft I harvest 0.75 - 1.25 lb/sqft, so yeah, 2 lbs would be easily doable with a 4x4 canopy, and sufficient experience to keep the plants thriving.
Sorry, edited my post; i get 0.75 - 1,25 lb per 4 sq ft.Ima do 4-5 plants hoping that they literally take over the whole tent, so working space for me is basically having to take out the whole pot jus to feed the damn thing lollipop ping is gonna be a pain in the ass that’s for sure.
I’ve made up my mind I’m settling on the 660 watt Diablo… if I can afford it that is tbh tho I’ve seen a YouTube video of someone getting 3.6 lb using the black dog in a 4x4. But since it’s a bit more money I think that’s defiantly next.I've got a Black Dog Phytomax 2 and I love it, but I'm very impressed with the Scorpion Diablo. Great light footprint.
I paid $2,000 USD for my light (10% off retail) but my friend bargained with them and got a light for $1,600 USD.

Black Dog does not have a PPFD chart, it would have most of the light concentrated in the centre.

My question when buying my last light was - which light will produce the most yield in a 4x4 area. Even though the Diablo has a great chart it is still just a 660 watt light going up against a 1000 watt light. Black Dog did some research and did clone grows with their 600 watt and 1000 watt lights - as expected the 1000 watt light produced the same percentage more bud as it used electricity.
I don't know but I suspect the 660 Watt Diablo will perform similarly against the 1000 Black Dog.
I'm still 3 years off from buying a new light, it's great watching the innovations come through.
