Germination doubt

Hi all. I've planted a freebie ( Greengo Bio Haze Auto from Kera Seeds ) a week ago, together with 2 other strains.

Those two germinated 2 days ago, but this one still didn't. Should I wait 3 more days or should I check on it and try something different?

It would be a shame losing it because it sounded like an interesting strain.
Any tips are appreciated, thanks!

Edit: forgot to mention, germination method is directly in soil, about 1in deep

I think I would call it around 14days, last run I planted into a 5 gallon of Coco it took 14 days. Good luck I would love to see this greengo biohaze also!

Ive dug up seeds a few times..also sometimes when they dont germ ill dump out the pot and the seed just mysteriously vanishes without a trace. Freakiest thing, swore i put a seed in there, wtf...

One trick is to place a ziplock bag over the top leaving the bottom open to increase humidity. Water with a hand mister as needed to keep the soil moist. Take the baggie off once/if it sprouts.

Also my wife pointed out to my high ass that we actually bought the seed! So it's not a freebie, which is emotionally worse lol @Herb & Suds

So funny man, this happened to me with other plants like watermelon etc. I too was confused as fuck ( and still am, I mean who's stealing our seeds? Wtf! Lol )

Never had issues germinating this way before, but could try something different for sure next time thanks!

This thing has a tracking on the bottom that you actually fill with water and just put the starter pots on top and once it is sprouted leave in their for a week or two before goes into pot

So I decided to dug up the seed. Thank god my wife found it, we've been looking through the soil for like 10 minutes and I was thinking the invisible man took it @mudballs lol

I took it out and am going to try the paper towel method. @vostok correct me if I'm wrong, but I should always keep it wet, room temperature and in complete darkness, right? It's now sitting in my kitchen cupboard on a plate.

In your experience, how long does it take this way? Still about 5 days? Also it is safe to check on it once a day? Say by carefully opening the towel?

Darkness doesn't matter to an un-sprouted seed
As far as temps the top of the cable/satellite box is perfect

If it doesn't open in two more days it is a dud

Hi. So, it's been 2 days and nothing. As a last resort I decided to gently scrape off the shell with a very sharp knife.

While I was doing it, a piece of shell came off, unveiling the embryo.

I did not touch it with the knife, i closed the towel back and put it inside the ziploc bag.

Have I fucked everything up or is there still hope?
