Nobody can manage a country perfectly, which means that any leader would technically be responsible for some impossible-to-truly-determine number of deaths. However, Trump is responsible for far more than any current democrat would be just because he's significantly promoted and fueled the Florida/DeSantis trend of scoffing at the virus and preventive measures.

For those that just joined. I'm not a Trump worshipper. Just came in here to see if anyone could tell me what's been so great since a Democrat has taken office.... one guy said something about a stimulus check and someone else said he's helped poor families but no links or facts like I've had to provide.

My question is...what more do you want? How could he have ever full filled your needs for a dictator? It has only been a few months...fuck give the guy a couple days to do some work. Took trump 4 years to fuck everything up. Recovery takes time.

I'll be honest, I don't actually hate Trump's policies all that much, save for the immigrant hating policies and I'd argue his tariffs are a failure even though I agree with the antiglobalization sentiment.

But, there's an entire half of the pie that's not being discussed, which is....what kind of dumbfuck thinks it's a good idea to have Andrew Dice Clay in character represent your local church? Because that's what you're asking for and you should be embarrassed.

In no way am I dismissing covid. Although a strong immune system will help against any virus or illness.... so there's that. Looking at death rates alone. Why are the other states struggling more than Florida? If DeSantis and his policies are bat shit crazy... why don't the stats agree?

Well then you're in conflict. Take your pick. Either republicans(Trump, DeSantis, etc.) are right and covid is just the flu and preventive measures are silly, or they're not, but you say they're not and you also say DeSantis' perception is great...which is it?

I think DeSantis is doing as well as possible considering he's the next target for the Democrats and their media brigade. What I respect most is that he let's the people decide what is best for them. If you're scared, wear a mask, get vaccinated, and go out in public as much as you feel comfortable. Since the vaccine "works" anyone who's had it should be good to go. If it doesn't then why are they pushing so hard for it? And if it's so safe and effective, why can't the kids get it?

I also think you're trying really hard to put words in my mouth.

Covid is not the same as the typical flu. Anyone who looks at death rates should agree.
