Still rocking my QB120's. Slacking but need to add some deep reds to my build. Anyone use far reds at lights out? Not sure what the benefits of far red are besides faster finishing times. I flower at 11/13 so flower times already shortened a little bit. Also run a perpetual so not really concerned about finishing faster. Already got my deep reds just need to wire them up, still on fence about far red.

My understanding from a previous conversation is they are Samsung LEDs and a brand new LED, with HLG having an exclusive contract on them.

When they do eventually give out the info, I'll post it here!

That's over 450w of radiant/light output from a 600w driver, +75% board efficiency, 68% system efficiency. Over 200 Lum/watt with a red enhanced spectrum! (this lowers Lum per watt Cause reds don't give much lum's)

My guess is this is as good as it gets with current technology/blue pump phosphor whites + high efficiency reds.
At least until we learn to grow with the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind...

Hats off to the HLG crowd :clap: :clap:

Devastated they don't offer single wide sizes on their website. Amazon's about $20 cheaper per box than buying direct anyways I guess.

Not implying anything other than if they were Samsung and now there not, is the warranty still valid?
I believe they manufacture a solid LED choice but I just want to know what I'm buying into.
I remember all the rage of the PGRs when no one knew they were PGRs and states started pulling products.

HLG won't change their warranty over parts used. They've used other LEDs before. I have a pair of QB 324, which used Nichia LEDs. Some QB 288 were built with alternative LEDs also.
However, the new LEDs I believe are still Samsung. We're not going to jeopardize our reputation using inferior LEDs.

Quick question what type of barrel connector would I use on the input side of the driver? Talked to a rep at HLG and they suggest an LLT brand but not sure of which one. Thank you in advance,

Make sure it's the right amount of poles. And check the diameter of the cord strain relief. This is just an example.
