Nice specimen you have there!
Personally I would cut it down in one piece but others may do diffI have electric hedge trimmers! Should do the trick, I actually didn’t put any thought into how much of a bitch cutting my first one might be lol. Still learning, definitely doesn’t look like I’ll have as much trouble as you guys
I’m planning on one solid chop initially, then better hanging branches, going to be using clothes hangers.Personally I would cut it down in one piece but others may do diff
I was just envisioning in my head you using an electric hedge trimmers to cut it down and personally want to see a video of itI’m planning on one solid chop initially, then better hanging branches, going to be using clothes hangers.
Don't worry about trichomes so much. New growers often harvest early based on reading them wrong.Just saw a post where people were talking about harvesting by bract calyx? I’m trying to go off trichs but I have a super hard time holding microscope steady lol.
Yes, sadly I took some bad advice on my first grow, from a much more experienced grower and chopped early. Sorely disappointed. Not looking to ever make that mistake again.Don't worry about trichomes so much. New growers often harvest early based on reading them wrong.
Refer to post #9. The pistils should be all brown/orange and retracted towards swollen calyx.
It happens to pretty much everyone. You learn from mistakes, not from when you do everything right.Yes, sadly I took some bad advice on my first grow, from a much more experienced grower and chopped early. Sorely disappointed. Not looking to ever make that mistake again.
I know right! Some posts on google say some white is fine, some growers say some white hairs are inevitable, so many people saying go bu trichs, invest in loupe/microscope, but obviously in that picture on post 9, there’s no white at all. I am also seeing people say harvest when the bract calyx hairs are brown.Man I'm just more confused on harvest times now. Seems lots of people just go by leaves and pistols but I thought the only sure way was trichs. Grrrr!
Aww how cute!! I just got this sweet little girl a few days ago! She is just the happiest little thing. I tried to name her Lillie, and my little boy burst out laughing and said Willie!?? Ok Willie you’re a good girl. So the poor thing is named Willie she looks like she has been drinking coffee.Oh and breelow, I was introduced to Boston terriers via my wife. Now I'm hooked on them. My wife just bought me my very own little boy so I could have my own hunting and fishing buddy. In less then a week of having him he's been on three hunting trips and already got to share in success. His name is Buck (loosely named after the one eyed weasel guy from ice age, but also being a die hard hunter). He's completely adorable and we already got our hands full.
