I’ve been on a tear ever since I signed up w/ VRV…last weekend I slammed Food Wars, Third and Fourth Plates (totally love this show - and was big fan of Iron Chef too), I’m in the middle of World Trigger, and just finished Taboo Tattoo, and am in early eps of Night Head 2041, which is damned interesting.

I’m also working my way through “the Last Airbender” - my daughter wants me to see it. She says it’s about all the stuff I taught her (or tried to) when she was growing up & she wants to share it.

I’ve gotten to the point where I’m catching up with episodes as they’re released (bi-)weekly for some shows:
That…Reincarnated…Slime
Remake Our Life!
Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun!
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles
The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace
Girlfriend, Girlfriend

Gotta say I’m a binger at heart: once technology allowed me to collect episodes & watch the whole show in one go, I never looked back. Waiting for weekly episodes to drop is SO 1970s….

In other anime type news, I heard that Sony - owner of Funimation - now owns Crunchyroll, too…an eventual combined streaming site is in the future. “Men of culture” quiver with antici…pation.

Everybody’s doing well

That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime is getting good again, it sort of meandered off course for a while, still enjoyable though. I just think it's funny how all of Rimuru's minions levelled up once he became a demon lord. Shuna was always just a simple one dimensional character, so it was funny to see her get mad and become so OP last episode.

Food Wars is a great show! Especially the earlier seasons. Reminds me of OLD Japanese Iron Chef from the 90s. I loved the original "French" Iron Chef in Japan, Hiroyuki Sakai. He had these pimp gold rimmed glasses with a gold chain. Those original Iron Chef's were incredible, it's worth searching out those 90s episodes if you like Food Wars!

Nothing to forgive, man - one old pothead to another…

To Your Eternity turned out pretty good, looking forward to the next season. Also been watching Slime, and the Vinland Saga dub.
t want
Really looking forward to watching it…but I’m going to wait until I can watch the whole thing, like with 86. I really am all about the stories, and I don’t like having to wait…so the more intense/gripping a story, the more I don’t want a forced one-week intermission

I’ve really been enjoying Slime a lot…they could cut down on the ‘Great Rimuru’ dance a whole bunch and I wouldn’t mind, but I love the whole thing…the setup to Walpurgis has been *epic*.

really loved all the old Iron Chefs in Kitchen Stadium, earning “the people’s ovation and fame forever”!

BTW: must share with y’all - Sonny Boy on Hulu: pretty amazing…
