Help with using a phototron

Phototrons are worthless. I can't believe they sold those pieces of crap for over $600. I had one someone traded me for a bag of weed years ago. I stripped the lights out of it and used them for vegging plants. The rest of that piece of junk got busted up and tossed in the recycle bin. The only way anyone is getting a pound out of one of those things is if they're weighing wet weed including the leaves and stems.

I'm still using the lights to start vegetables pre-spring. The rest of that piece of junk has been in a landfill for over 10 years.

I rigged this up last winter. Works fine for starting tomatoes and peppers. Worthless for growing weed. The one I had was the older model but the newer one is still a worthless piece of junk.

You are probably right- if you can't follow simple instructions. I'm setting mine up again. Haven't used it in years, but the last time I did, I got MORE than a lb. out of 3 plants. This time, I'm going with the 6 plants that it recommends,and I guarantee I'll get more than 1 lb. In 3 months, also. So what's that stupid looking thing you're making?!? Oh, ok, I re-read. Useless for weed. You never owned a Phototron, and you're blowing smoke out your ass. Wanna compare crop yield on Dec. 31? I am right. Phototrons are garbage. It's too bad you got ripped of when you bought yours. It must be hard to admit it but you were swindled.

This cheap bastard gave me a Phototron still in the box in an attempt to escape paying me for work. Took one look and loaded back in the truck and took it to the transfer station/landfill. Put it where usable stuff is for the dumpster divers.

Underpowered lights. Room for one plant. What a waste of material.

Nobody said you couldn't grow a plant with them but they're a complete ripoff. For less than half of what you pay for one of those things you could get a small tent, 2-3 times as much light, and a fan and filter and be much more successful.
