There is no drain in my grow room. What now?You have a pipe that goes to the drain. Look at iws autodrain. Other than that it's all on timers.
Yes, that "fucking valve thing".Also... that fucking valve thing on autopots is shit. It gets stuck and then you get flooded. The whole thing sucks.
Just sharing my experience with xl autopots and coco. I did 6 runs. Did ok.... just lots of hassle and flushing....You guys are throwing out statements off-handedly with no supporting arguments.

i'm just gonna let you handle this moron. lol. my posts are the same as yours but 2 minutes too late. You have a pipe that goes to the drain
i don't either. gotta use your noggin, bro.I have no drain in my grow room.
Please, elaborate on the hassle. "Lots of hassle and flushing" sounds like a regular grow to me.Just sharing my experience with xl autopots and coco. I did 6 runs. Did ok.... just lots of hassle and flushing....
Yeah me neither... im in a loft... my pipe goes out into the gutter.... the autodrain PUMPS the water away. Its called a drain brain.I have no drain in my grow room.

No, because coco has special draining and air holding capacity. If yoir amending coco and then just using water you might aswell just use soil.
Jesus....Please, elaborate on the hassle. "Lots of hassle and flushing" sounds like a regular grow to me.
You did 6 runs, that's about 18 months of growing, seriously a lot of experience with the system. I'd like to know what went wrong and what did make you switch to a different system.
I've seen quite a few postings now here regaring the AutoPot, and they always say something vague like "problems", "build-up", "hassle". That might as well somebody talking about RDWC or anything related to growing, really.
sorry man but you gotta face facts. DTW is far superior to wick feeding. Please, elaborate on the hassle. "Lots of hassle and flushing" sounds like a regular grow to me.

Exactly... you know dtw is in the prime range of everything every day.... with wicking.... you know its notsorry man but you gotta face facts. DTW is far superior to wick feeding.
here answer this for me:
day 1 my pH? my EC
day 2 my pH? my EC
day 10 my pH? my EC.
see the difference: mine day 1 to day 14 pH is somewhere b/t 5.5 and 6.1 and my EC is usually 0.7. every single day even if I'm on the beach in Cancun.
Or the always temperate Cuernavacabeach in Cancun
bingo!Exactly... you know dtw is in the prime range of everything every day.... with wicking.... you know its not
had to look that place up. been to mexico city but not there. is it high elevation or something?Or the always temperate Cuernavaca
Sorry, I do not have a reply. It could be made into a haiku or a poem, or a dance, I'm sure.here answer this for me:

Nobody said it won't work... its just not as optimal.OK, the matrix must have failed because the plant literally 3 feet to the left of me should not even exist according to you.
Sorry, I do not have a reply. It could be made into a haiku or a poem, or a dance, I'm sure.
Do you at least see my issue here? "Not as optimal" is gibberish to me.Nobody said it won't work... its just not as optimal.
This is not true. You're just pulling statements out of nowhere, as if they were gospel.Because coco needs a flow of water to maintain the correct ph, nute levels and bring fresh oxygen to the roots.
5000ft, so not super high up. I think it's in the perfect spot in the mountains/hills to always be low-high temp of 60-80f on average every day of the year, it's pretty nice. Definite vacation town. Lots of language schools and study abroad there as well, good access to all sort of stuff + mexico city.had to look that place up. been to mexico city but not there. is it high elevation or something?
