My buds kind of smell like weed, but too much grassy smell. What did I do wrong?

Boil banana peels then when it cools you could use that if you don’t wanna buy a Turps enhancecer

if u need more than npk and all the micros your doing something wrong more is not better. simple is easy.

Yeah maybe. But at this point on the Trollitup.org i mostly get confused rather than enlighten when it comes to info. Its just to many opinions here so for some of the ladys i will flush and some wont get flushed. Just to see and collect the info myself

hang there until the buds feel dry. That’s about 5-7 days. Stems never snap but bend.

When I read the title of this thread, I already knew your post would say this. You jarred when your weed wasnt fully dry and fucked it up by sealing it in a glass jar and only letting it breathe for 5 minutes a day.

how long did u put her under 12/12 for before u chopped? most likely harvested early.

At least ten weeks

Harvested too early and/or too much initial moisture still when you did; you mentioned branches "bent but didn't snap", well you want the smallest up to the most medium-sized of the branches to snap when bent.

too much moisture during the end flower? It never got above 50, kept it mostly in the 40’s. It’s damn near impossible to get below 40. The buds felt crispy when I put them in jars.It was still spongy in the middle but not wet spongy.

Looks like two more weeks to me but nice grow job. Next time let them run longer. Still good on getting to the end.

Riu does have a reputation for childish folk who love to rattle cages. Not even sure how these guys got so smart, osmosis I'm sure. There are mature,intelligent people here who will help you..my best advice is listen to lots of opinions, read up for yourself in the journals and follow people you see actually trying to grow their mind as well as pot..hang in there and learn to use the ignore button. Unfortunately you can't smack the fuck out of internet trolls..probably don't even grow. Welcome and if your trolling

Those look fine for chopping, it wasn't early. It's likely the bud wasn't dry enough before you jarred, even with the outsides being crispy. They hay smell doesn't leave if it's too moist.

Make sure the buds easily snap off the stems before they go into jars.

If it smelled grassy then. It’s genetics.
Good genes will have good smelling bud from even 4 weeks of Flower. But if she smelled good before you bucked her into a jar. You sealed it with to much moisture.

I’m just afraid of over drying them. I’ve done that before but will admit I wasn’t as good as a grower then

It smelled like oil rags, smelled great, I guess it had too much moisture content
