Thanks in advance! Sorry for writing a book. Here’s my issue:
2 autos, identical care, one well into flower & started 2 weeks ago. The other seemed to start but then just stopped and didn’t do much for over a week. She has early pistols & is very slowly stretching… but she’s slow and way behind.
I decided to increase the PPM and my Nute schedule has me dropping the Grow Nute ratio to half so that the flower nutes are now double the grow nutes. That seems to have gotten her going again although very slowly. The one in flower is now 5 inches taller & gaining everyday. It’s day 46 so that’s nearly 7 weeks without any real flowers on the other. These are Critical Purple Autos so maybe have a longer flowering period.
Should I just be patient with the slower girl or should I switch my light to 12/12? I really don’t want to reduce my yield.
If I try 12/12 and it makes the other girl pop… can I then go back to 18/6 once she’s going?
Also, I’m in hydro and have been reading that once in flower I should keep my PH closer to 6.2 to make P and K more available. If I do that, should I still bring it down to say 5.9 and let it drift up to 6.2, or should I just aim to stay around 6.2 for her now that she’s flowering? So many questions! Thanks very much.
Note - plant in front is same strain, planted in super soil a week after the others. Seems she’s maybe going to be slow to flower as well.
