Cannot figure out what’s killing my 20+ plants.

My plants are all suffering from something I cannot figure out, leaves are turning shiny on top, new growth is shiny, rough, and clawed. New growth stems are short and stunted. I have not fed ANY nutrients thus far JUST Soil with .25-.06-.12 levels. Added CAL-MAG Calcium magnesium and iron supplement for 5 or 6 waterings about a month ago. I do not have any runoff reading or PPM of my water which I am working on. I am definitly not over or underwatering

I am very confused because this looks like too much N but I haven’t given any extra.

I am going to be jerk. Light is lacking. Appears to be distilled or R.O. water. And you are way over ambitious. Water with tap water if under 8 ph. Not even going to suggest a fix. Check for pests ad hit me up.LOL.

My flash is on I have a lot of light in there. Are you saying I should increase it?

Looks pretty dense in there, dial your ph an ec in when you get your meters, probably going to need a pretty good flush by then to get stuff into optimal range.

there is most likely a build up of nutes and ph way off

I have not used any nutes yet, they are fairly young
tap water trash can build up in your medium if you are not watering till good run off and/or the ‘medium’/plant is not using it

doesn’t matter. Put proper stuff in till you have proper stuff comin out once you get your meters and calibrated them

incase you didn’t get ec calibrate solution if it says you tap is from 100-300 it’s probably pretty close and should be fine

Onemorerip is right
The calmag and iron suplments throw off ph and cause problems and lockout
What kind of water were you using?

I think he may have overdone the supplements maybe, he says they are young the soil probably had enough unless using ro but I doubt that

im in Alaska our water is very hard, I didn’t know until later, new to the area. Should I try to flush the calmag out with tap water or should I soften the water with some sort of supplement. I’m in a dry cabin so i use a well that you bring jugs to.

And again. Use tap water. All this crazy stuff people are spitting. PH below 8.5 is not a factor in true soil. Perping synthetics and you are done already.

Also when you do get your stuff and go to fix your medium, it’s probably at the point that if you will need a gallon of flushing water per gallon pot size and also, say your runoff ph is 4 I would use 9 ph to get it back to 6.0 or what you want other wise it will take forever to get there

Then once you get it ideal, water that through with regular proper ph and ppm nutrient solution , so that is what your plant is left with

Can you please dumb that down a little for me, this is the first time I’ve ever had to do anything other than put the plants in the pots and if they get a little yellow give them some blood meal and ur good. I’ve been lucky I guess.

Shit soil, over nute with calmag causing ph issues or using ro or bottled (distilled water) and not adding enough calmag.
Starving plants, unhealthy roots.
Let me guess. .... Miracle grow soil...?
Without more info that's what I come up with.
