that's a taurus curve...weird little .380 that has a curved frame with a built in belt clip and laser sight, designed for concealed carry. takes a little getting used to, has no safety at all, so they built in a long and heavy trigger pull. took me about 300 rounds or so to get where i can hit main body mass at 10 yards, but now that i've gotten used to it, i don't even use the laser sight anymore
and by the way, that's a hi-point 9mm carbine, not an ar....everything except the curve and my shotgun are 9mm, only have to buy one kind of ammo then

Laser sights seem to me to create a tactical problem. They point right at the shooter. I’d be right pissed if my advanced targeting tech gave someone else a cheap shot at me.

i do have to agree with that, it's never seemed like a sound tactical decision to give away your position. the only real reason i could see to use them is for riot police to all have them...all those little red dots dancing across the front line of assholes at the capital on 1/6 would have made them a lot more hesitant to rush the building...

I can see why Garland might want to time Trump's prosecution, Trump running around loose is the democrat's biggest asset. As long as the threat is there it can help with the current state elections, Donald is also dividing the republicans and not allowing new leaders to arise. However, the Stormy Daniels affair and Cohen are starting to smell, it's a pretty simple case and is a slam dunk. My conclusion is that Donald is more useful running around refighting the 2020 election, than he is in prison right now. Besides, Garland wants NY to take Trump down, cause that is gonna happen before the 2022 election, they will have enough to do Donald for life.
