Calcium Nitrate plus Epsom is also Cal Mag. The point is you said you weren't using CalMag, but you are using half of it.
So does my well waterI don't add CalMag or Epsom to my normal feed.
Just Jacks 5/12/26 and Calcium nitrate. The blend contains more than enough Ca and Mg.
i add epsom sometimes in veg and always in bloom mainly for the Su. and the extra mg doesn't hurt.So does my well water

He’s claiming he doesn’t feed but he’s using time release nutrients so whatever makes him feel good. He’s “only using water” (plus that long ass list he made in the other post)I’m at a loss what you are proving?
I can stop feeding my plants and flip and they look like that
But I have to feed to finish
Do you have pics to end ?
You have got me all wrong, not trying to prove any point.I’m at a loss what you are proving?

all I am trying to say, a good basic soil mix can see you all the way through the flower stage, over the years I have wasted loads of money on bottle nutes, you don't need to, they're a cheaper way, with bottle nutes I was tempted to give them too much food and this often caused problems in late flower. He’s claiming he doesn’t feed but he’s using time release nutrients so whatever makes him feel good. You do feed them every time you water them.all I am trying to say, a good basic soil mix can see you all the way through the flower stage,
Ok guilty as chargedto rephrase his claim: he adds the food that the plants need til harvest right before he flips to flower from veg.

In each 29ltr pot there is:
sulphate of potash 2tsp
seaweed meal 2tbsp
chicken manure 3tbsp
fish blood and bone 2tbsp
Bonemeal 2tbsp
about 3ltrs of perlite and 2ltrs of sharp sand.
Not sure what your point is, my plant food cost about £50 and it will last years, just have to water every 3-4 days in flower.
If you could buy a hot soil mix for flower, pot the plants up, and flower them off, water till harvest, would you say you are feeding the plants in flower?so you do feed in flower. Perfect thanks for clarifying
Yes if they’re getting added nutrients, you’re feeding them nutrients. If you could buy a hot soil mix for flower, pot the plants up, and flower them off, water till harvest, would you say you are feeding the plants in flower?
