Sorry bro didn't mean to upset youbeing curing my weed for the last 6 weeks in a buckets( and thats after a 3 week dry in paper bags)- smooth, tasty,( no black ash- hotter flame simple really) really potent.. - 1 week cure dude -why are we even bothering with this crap.........
All good bro,Happy New YearSorry bro didn't mean to upset you
yep- very basic- look at a fire - you burn wet wood it smokes, burns like shit, burns black - properly dry wood = GREY ASH which is really good for the veggie patchMoisture content affects the color of the ash. Dry weed that burns completely will leave a clean ash. Weed that has more moisture and does not burn completely can leave a dark ash as you don't have a complete combustion of the material. On a larger scale the same effect is what makes charcoal. Incomplete combustion.
Did you spray your plants with chemicals or oils during flowering?this harvest does not taste well and black ash
No but I had nitrogen toxicity going onDid you spray your plants with chemicals or oils during flowering?
Scientific method, this not isSo I'm 100 percent sure my bud is dry and I still have black ash and taste like shit. At this point I'm really beginning to think this is excess nutrients in my flower... what else could it be?
Man what am doing wrong? I dried fir 14 days (and even smoke some picked right off the dried plant and it absolutely tasted great) when I put it in jars and I'm monitoring my humidity and it doesnt rise much. After a couple days of jarring this is when the weed starts to taste awful and black ash occurs. And then I'm thinking oh shit maybe I'm jarring it too early so i let the buds lay out over night and then jar again. Buds never end up tasting or smelling like right off the plantThere are no excess nutrients in your flower, it just doesn't work that way.
Your issues are far more likely due to your drying and curing regime.
