I'm not expert but I broke it up the same as you've done then raked over it a couple of times a day for a week+, once properly dried I put it in a oven bag and used my finger tips to break any lumps into a fine powder I then heated it and hand pressed it.

Did you let it dry before putting it in the freezer?
No I put in freezer 3 hrs after extraction and had it in freezer for about 20 hrs. Then crumbled it on parchment paper, and now its been drying out for 16 hrs so far.

What I do ( following Frenchy's advice) is dry at 50° and 30-40% rh. You dont want a long dry like bud. Heat is your enemy with hash as it will darken it and also result in terpene loss. Those guys getting yellow to clear rosin are more than likely pressing live hash that's been freeze dried overnight. ( love to have a freeze dryer)
I usually dry anywhere from 24-48hrs. When i collect my hash out of the bags I try to make sure I squeeze out as much water as possible to speed drying times. What are your plans? The biggest worry is not drying enough and mold if you intend on long term storage.
Great haul btw. Looks like a good amount.

A couple of things I find helpful, before I remove the resin from the bag/s I sit it on tissue paper for 2/3 minutes, tissue wicks away any excess water and firms it up so it lifts off in a slab cleanly.
When it's draining use a pipette/syringe and keep gently rinsing around the tide mark, it gathers the resin nicely in the middle (see top pic)

or how they make them into the coins too. i just keep mine in crumbles in silicone containers.
i finally tried short washes in my washing machine this past weekend. (i'm a bit stubborn and have done just 1 long wash in the past thinking that longer has to be better than shorter: and i've even watched Frenchy but still did it my way. lol).
did 5 3 minute washes and got a lot of hash. definitely better results

for sure! my first 4 runs had a lot of hash in the bags. finally slowed down on the 5th. it was so cold out that nite i probably didn't even need ice either

how do you tell when it's dry enough to jar extended time safely?

wonder if storing it with a humidity pack would be good or bad idea? and what RH%?

I just let mine air dry. For a few days to a week just to be safe. I have no real idea what the proper procedure is to be honest
