I want to get high and my plants are close to harvesting, but say if I want to skin the drying and curing and go straight into concentrates would that be possible with using making ice bubble hash?
I don't have bubble hash bags so I was wondering if there was another way to get bubble hash without using the bags or if there's an alternative to the bags I can easily find at Walmart or home depot or lowes?Fresh frozen I believe they call that. I took some fresh frozen trim and made it into some bubble hash it was amazing! Very fragrant!
How long do you keep them in the freezer and can they be sitting on a plate with no cover or should it be in a bag to freeze?I've made plenty of bubble hash from fresh frozen trim . Never did it before freezing though . I'd freeze it regardless at least overnight , cold trichomes are your friends .
I am not really sure on that one micron screening is what you need, I have no idea if you can find that at a big box store.I don't have bubble hash bags so I was wondering if there was another way to get bubble hash without using the bags or if there's an alternative to the bags I can easily find at Walmart or home depot or lowes?
The gumby method requires alot of materials from what I've seen.
Kept in the freezer at least 24 hrs, and should be in a bag. Don't waste your time trying to find something at Walmart, HD, or Lowes, fruitless effort. Get a set of bubble bags, they aren't that expensive, you can get a complete kit for like $179 on Amazon, bags and washer, or do like I did, buy the bags & washer separately and save some money, I got an 8 bag set and a washer for under $100.How long do you keep them in the freezer and can they be sitting on a plate with no cover or should it be in a bag to freeze?
Those washers have parts that are hard/impossible to clean so a lot of hash purists went back to hand mixing in buckets/trash cans.Is the washer actually worth it?
To me it's worth it, I paid under $60 for mine, and that's cheaper than the drill that most people use to hand mix with. The only "modification" I've done, is replaced the the ribbed drain hose to a smooth one. It doesn't take much to keep it clean, and as far as parts, they are a throw away when it dies item for me.Is the washer actually worth it?
I just made my first couple batches of bubble and it was really easy. Hardest part is scraping all the trichs out.
Exactly!!!!The washers I've seen are exactly the same as a portable/camping washing machine.

cost £12
How many times do you need to wash your buds to extract everything?Exactly!!!!
In The Bubble Bag Dudes "kit" the washer costs like $140, I found the same exact washer on Amazon for under $60, just didn't have the "logo" silk screened on it, didn't feel like spending the extra $80 or so just to have a logo on it, LOL
You could do a kief run, you only need 1 screen, a bucket and dry iceI don't have bubble hash bags so I was wondering if there was another way to get bubble hash without using the bags or if there's an alternative to the bags I can easily find at Walmart or home depot or lowes?

That all depends on a few factors, plant breed, cycle times, amount. How many times do you need to wash your buds to extract everything?
I used a sealed bucket so I could shake it instead of a using drill, it worked but I had to wash it 5/6 times before I exhausted the resin.
I whole heartedly disagree, the washer is amazing and with a mod or two you won't lose anythingThose washers have parts that are hard/impossible to clean so a lot of hash purists went back to hand mixing in buckets/trash cans.
Truth!!!!!I whole heartedly disagree, the washer is amazing and with a mod or two you won't lose anything
