Yes it will. There's nothing to buffer keeping the solution stable and you don't keep EC constant which is what you strive for in hydro for pH stability.

Please tell me how giving a plant a flush at the CORRECT PH every other feed will cause pH problems?
Flushing your plants will help balance your pH not make it worse LOL?
If I over do something a flush has always gone a long way for me.
I have read grow bibles and text books that's where the information came from.
Bad advice? Your telling they guy to load his coco up with salt based food! When you can clearly see he's got too much of something in his coco, adding to what's in it already will make things worse surely?

The guy looked like he has calmag problems from where he didn't flush his medium after buffering it, just trying to help. people like you make me laugh, think they know everything and everyone else's opinion is irrelevant. Go spread your hate somewhere else there's enough of it in the world.

That's why you buffer the coco before use and that's what it looks like he's done. They're seedlings not 2ft plants.

"Calmag" is not a problem. It's either or. They're antagonists. I'm just pointing out that you're flushing your medium for no reason and to no gain and you loose your socks? You don't need to buffer coir with "Calmag" with a complete plant food intended for coir.

It all depends of what you're doing, adding nutrient solution to bricks or buying already amended coir from Canna etc.

It's a really bad advice to flush coir starting out seedlings or small plants with over watering as a result. No reason to be mad bud, were all here to help each other out. Cheers!

At this point, I'm more concerned with the proper balance/amounts of nutrients they're getting than the ph. Once I give them some canna A and B, I think they'll really come around. I think I have everything else dialed in pretty well.

@Mattsmith1871 Like Watei says, we are all here to help each other. You've mentioned Grow Bibles etc, but some information out there is still based on legend and myth. If you have time, have a good look at the "Calmag" controversy in a bit more detail.
I had all the classic symptoms of the so-called calmag problems until I learned about what happens when organic matter (like un-moderated coco or conventional potting mix) starts to break down - especially in anaerobic or acid conditions. Changed my media (and ran away from 'specially for cannabis' fertilizer, but that's another story) - no more 'calmag' problems.

What do guys think? Haven't got my canna A and B in yet but I think I got watering schedule down and I upped the nutes they were getting and it seems like they've really come around. I'll give them a little water tonight and then Tuesday I'll give them a heavy dose along with the A and B

Day 35, I've fed them twice this week with Canna A and B, I bumped it up a tad too much on the second feeding so a few of them got a little burnt. Otherwise, I think I've got things dialed in. Fingers crossed for smooth sailing from here on out.

Day 40, all but one are looking pretty good. Been giving each about 10 ounces every 2 to 3 days Canna A and B 10ml, bio grow, bio heaven, root juice, alga mic and fish mix. 2 separate half gallon mixes followed by straight water. Went ahead and put them in 3 gallons. Roots looked good, I figure I'll let them go for another 3 weeks before flipping to flower. We'll have to see

Day 42. Seems like the transplant was pretty low stress, given that it was rocky early on I'm pleased with where they're at. I think I'll give them until next week to top them and I'll switch them to flower when they get to the 15-18inch range. I think 3ish weeks left in veg.

Also, I'm getting my 2nd light in on Saturday(2 days from now). I think having 2 running the rest of the way out will be beneficial, 1230 Total watts from the wall. I also figured these SSH wouldn't be able to handle a ton of Nitrogen but it seems like the opposite, every mix I feed them has a hefty amount of nutes in general in terms of ml/g. I figure I'll just keep bumping it up until they tell me to stop. Would love to hear any thoughts.

Day 49, 3 of them just kinda gave up and were looking pretty pitiful so I'm down to 16 plants. 2nd light got lost in transit so that should be here tomorrow.

Coco is hydroponic, you do care about pH and EC of your nutrient solution all the time. You feed daily to runoff, which is being trashed straight after. Thats why they call it drain to waste. You need to work on runoff managment pretty fast and stop treating coco like a “soil”. You have issues and slow growth because of improper treatment, simply as that…

Not to be a dick, but if they’re looking like that and growing that slowly at day 50 in coco. You might want to start over. Coco/hydro is pretty fast done right and yours are moving slower than soil, this is 5 plants in soil 2nd week 12/12 after a 5week veg.(soils super easy try it if you haven’t) I’d swap out that blurple for either a 600w+ led or a 1000w hid if led doesn’t fit your budget atm(I started broke too I get it)

That's one thing I was wondering, how much are you watering daily and how much run off are you getting? I know this is dependent on pot size and root mass

Depends on size of plant, in veg you can get through once a day, they survive every other day if they are smaller. In flower once a day is minimum and you can go up to 6 times a day if you have it automated and plants are big enough. I do not measure volume of runoff since those reccomended 20% might be missleading and cause EC climb high between fertigation. I just feed to keep EC runoff as close to input EC. But it goes hand in hand with cheap fertilizers and runoff managment. If those tho are not figured out it might get expensive and labour intensive. Good luck!
