This was quite impressive 81B2CF90-0FDD-4AD6-9437-EC049A594B4E.jpeg. It was a very distinctive separation of flavor that hit the palette. First a strong citrus with a pause followed by a strong bitter. Very nice. Made in San Francisco and purchased at the local gas station Chevron. I mostly bought it because of the bird graphic image. Very cool design .

That one, Fat Tire and Red Seal Ale from North Coast Brewing are my go to's. Ales and stouts are my preference. I need to find another stout other than Guinness though.
I am sick of ipa . They are too strong for me. I am going to try ale. I almost grabbed some the other day. Sorry, I am bit confused about the difference between imperial ale and regular ale.

everything from Deschutes is solid IMO
The lady likes the Mirror Pond but I find it to be lacking. It's still a good beer but I like more hop. I'll stick to my IPA's but that Obsidian Stout is a damn good stout. I remember when McMenamins had good beer. Their Terminator Stout was always good. Now they're just a hospitality chain and the quality of their beer has suffered significantly over the years. I haven't been to one in years even before the Pandemic. Last time was when my sister was in town and wanted to go to the Kennedy School. Horrible beer and food. The service was just as bad. I felt violated paying the tab. It was like I just got mugged.

never heard of them. portland ?
That's where they started but they have places all over Oregon and Washington now. Back in the day many of their brewpubs were brewing something on-site. They have about 60 pubs, small theaters in Oregon and Washington. They've been around since 1983.

For some reason I thought you were from this area. I'm confused again. I better put down the bong. :bigjoint:
