New and Improved TnT Foodie thread

Last night's dinner. Nothing fancy. I made some chili, no beans. Nathan's hot dogs, toasted buns, onions and cheese.

Chili dogs. They were tasty.

Pork chops, mashed taters and gravy, carrots. I eat a ton of carrots. They're really cheap and I like like them. I need to pick up another whole boneless pork loin. They're on sale at Chef'Store for $1.88 lb. Pork chops were brined and then lightly seasoned with some Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning and fried in a cast iron skillet. Nothing fancy but plenty tasty. You can't beat good ole meat and potatoes.

If you got the time, then you gotta brine.
1.88 lb. right now … that’s a good price.

Yeah mine was with beef. Goat is very good. I make a nice Indian Rogan Josh when I can find goat. I use mutton too but goat is delicious.
i have been thinking about indian food lately! haven't had any in many years: i've got to check out if there are any good spots in Co Springs one time when i'm down there.

i've got a hankering for chicken vindaloo (xtra spicy)

I love vindaloos. I used to like it really hot. I've had to moderate that a bit as I've aged but still.
