Hmm Chilli.

We made a large pot.
After the fourth heaping helping I had to stop. But before storing the remainder I had to lick the ladle.

I should not have done that.
The rest of the evening was uncomfortable. Who would have thought licking the spoon would make me sick. Lol.

There is still plenty. I'll take some to my mom and sister. They will need their own spoons. I would not want them to get sick too. Lol

got a new apple corer, thought i'd try it out. works pretty good, but you still have to cut out pieces of core here and there

then i had all these apples, so i fried them in unsalted butter, with nutmeg, cinnamon, raisins, dark brown sugar, and a little lemon zest

put that on some puff pastry sheets, closed them up with a little egg wash,

and baked them about 20 minutes at 380

then iced them with cinnamon sugar drizzles...

so i guess the apple corer works ok

It's steamed kokuho rose...it's plenty sticky.
i got taught how to roll sushi a long time ago, but i haven't done it in a long time. as i remember it, if your rice isn't staying together, it's either not sticky enough, or you aren't rolling it tight enough. not being critical, just helpful...if i'm being a dick just ignore me
