Phosphoric acid has always been my preferred product for any growing media and hydro.Lemon juice converts pretty quickly and becomes alkaline. Use citric acid like other suggested or even better phosphoric acid to lower pH.
Lately I've been using Pekacid powder form just because I have a container of it. Its basically phosphoric acid with some potassium in dry granular form. I haven't had any issues going on a couple months using it with coco. Dissolves easily. Lowers the pH like phosphoric acid. Takes about half tsp to get 5 gallons to 6.0 pH using MaxiBloom with my water.
