2x2 and 2x4

Grow morning everyone. Where to begin....

I have two spider farmer tents, one is. 2x2 for veg and the other 2x4 for flower. I pop 10 beans and give them about 6 weeks before I pop 10 more. The second around starts veg I flip first round to flower. So on so forth. I’d like to switch my cycle up and try keeping a mother plant along with clones in the 2x2. I understand the space is very small to try this but would it work?
Take 8 cuts and let them veg in 2x2 for 6 weeks with no LST before taking another 8 cuts from mother plant. Give 2 weeks for cuts to root and for vegging clones to reach 2 months at which point I’d flip 2 month old clones to flower.

Guess I’m asking for advice and opinions. At work for next couple hours so won’t be able to respond right away. Thank you for taking the time to read this even if you don’t reply. Have a good day and remember a joint a day keeps the haters away.

In my opinion, Ten plants in a 2x4 is not going to fit. I grow in soil so that is my perspective. I have 6 in a 2x4 and I won’t be doing it again. They’re in 5 gallon bags. It’s out of control.

I don’t want to harsh your mellow but I think you are over estimating what you can fit in those spaces. The only way I can image that many plants working is heavily training your plants and pulling very low yields off each plant. It just seems like a lot of work. I don’t see why you couldn’t pull it off. I just wouldn’t suggest it.

Bro...10 plants. What crack are you smoking? This is two autos at week seven from sprout in a 2x4x6. How small do you guys want your plants lol?

My tent is a bit shorter but nice you made it look easy. I have autos in mine as well, I could of defoliated it more earlier and then maybe I wouldn't be so outgrown. Mine are growing really wide as well.
What size pots are you in?

They were 2.5 gallon pots of amended Coco.

I have panic attacks thinking of more than two plants a go lol. I envy anyone attempting more than that.

No crack, I fit 8 4 foot plants (LST’d) in 5 gallon square pots in the 2x4 I just pop 10 beans because I have an abundance and you never know which beans going to go. Also I have never grown autos and probably won’t just not my get down.
Your autos do look very good.

I'm just confused. I can flip a single photo at 2 or 3 weeks and it won't fit in a 2x2 by week 4 or 5. How are you getting such small plants? Generally interested as a single auto is basically filling my 70x70 atm, and they are usually smaller than photoperiods.

Id love to run a few strains at once in a 2x4, but I usually run out of space with just two plants within six weeks from sprout, and that's with heavy defol. One plant basically fills a 2x4 if i train, and they are only short veg autos. If I try any more than two it's so packed at week four from sprout humidity won't go under 70% even with a dehumidifier and airflow is non existent.

So I would have to LST to make them fit? I’ve been able to get 8 5 gallon bags inside 5 gallon square pots in a 2x4.

Lots of factors involved to consider. Genetics will play a large aspect on how they will grow. The problem with having so many plants in one tent is I’m not even sure how you would train them. You cant really train them sideways. Once they hit the edge of the pot they have no where to go but upwards. You would need to defoliate a lot so their isn’t pockets of still air.

Watering is going to be difficult. You will have difficulty working on the back row of plants. if you work your ass off to make it work you can do it. Again a lot of factors but I can guarantee you will have a sore back from having to contort yourself into weird positions to work in that compacted tent.

another issue I would be worried about is how would you even stimulate air flow below the canopy? I always have a fan below the canopy to create air flow.
