So your point is that people shouldn't get to hear certain things, because they can't handle the truth? Um, ok. You are pro-censorship. Got it.
Uh, no. There are things that are true about me but people do not need to know. And even if they did then it would not change the political equation of anyone. The people pushing free speech do not care about free speech, they care about using Hunter as a political dagger to be used to damage Joe Biden. How many other politicians in the US are being attacked using their children who are not involved in politics?

"Bueller? Bueller?"

Musk says he’s against ‘censorship that goes far beyond the law’
Elon Musk said Tuesday that he is against “censorship that goes far beyond the law” as speculation grows about how the Tesla CEO will run Twitter, which he is set to acquire for $44 billion.

“The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all,” Musk tweeted without specifying to whom he was referring.

“By ‘free speech’, I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law,” Musk added in a later tweet. “If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.”

The remarks come one day after a deal was struck for Musk to buy the social media platform.

He said in a statement on Monday, “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.”

The news of Musk’s Twitter takeover has been cheered by Republicans who see the SpaceX executive as a proponent of free speech, in comparison to Democrats who slammed the billionaire’s purchase while drawing comparisons to what he reportedly pays in taxes.

Still, it is not clear how Twitter will change under Musk, including whether certain officials and politicians banned on the platform, most prominently former President Trump, could have their accounts restored.

Social media platforms have struggled in recent years to moderate and police content, with advocates saying not enough is being done to remove misinformation and hate speech.

So now does Trump take a trip to kneel and kiss Musk's ring?

The law? What law? WHICH law?

This bit in a nutshell is why I have ZERO respect for or interest in Elon J Musk: he sounds *BRILLIANT* to people who don’t know much, don’t think well, and are easily impressed, but his word-salad is as bad as Hair Furor hisself & just doesn’t hold together any better DFG. I was watching him on YT talking about “the dangers of AI”, and it was just drivel, just the vaguest, stupidest, most content-free melange of scary words you’ve ever tried to figure out. Not even a professional con-man or politician could have spun more useless bullshit…and THOUSANDS of comments thanking “the great man” for his wisdom and insight & urging him to address the “menace“ as only he can…. Too bad I know something about the subject. And about professional liars and cons.

I'm going to say Rule of Law depending on the country since Twitter is global.

I totally agree he sure sells people a line and his spin sucks. All you have to do is listen; he hits on buzz words and strings them together and it all has no meaning. tbh I think he's a dick and looks as if he needs a good shower kinda like Johnny Depp.

Just stick your blood in the CPU..fake it until you make it or the VC and your investors catch on.

Sure…but he very skillfully avoids saying anything meaningful -totally typical of ruling-class wonder-twinks like him and the insurrection crowds. Stupid people do it because they flounder; smart people do it to drag others along without their thinking parts.

Smart people who do that assay as majority evil. Here’s your sign, Elon….
