are you working with a specifically antimicrobial fabric? it being in contact with wet soil or sitting in water is a bit of a concern but im sure you thought of that by now lol
Still looking at different materials... If you have decent airflow, then it shouldn't affect your dry cycle.I would definitely give it a shot. Would it let the soil breath and not retain its moisture drying out at its usual rate.
