Ok I’m almost ready to chop this time I’m curing right lol…I ordered a 12 pack hygrometer set for one each in gallon jars sealed for curing ….I have 62 humidity and 58% humidity boveda packs ….question is after drying which I should dry around 55% humidity …right ? Then put in jars at around 70% humidity for a few weeks buriping every few hours ..:then when I seel fully is when I put the 62% boveda in them
….and when do I add the 58% humidity I ordered these to …for each jar

I’m putting 58 and 62 boveda packs and storing them in them
You can use either the 58 or 62 boveda packs. I like to use the 62% ones but some friends complained my buds are not dry enough for their taste. It's a matter of taste really. If you are going to roll joints, 58 might be better for you. For vaping I would use 62.

When you are happy with the cure and stop opening the jars every day drop them in.

All you gotta do is jar your buds once sticks start making a splintering sound. Burp and sample every couple days, when they seem dry enough stop burping just store them in a dark 60s area

Bovedas are for long term storage for already rh stable product.

They do not magically become the “ curing “ pack.
If you store weed for a few months then good to use.
If you smoke your weed within a few weeks and not store jars for storage then it is a waste to use.
How’s it a waste I don’t understand don’t they maintain your humidity inside curing jar at whatever the boveda pack is ….even 2 weeks cure at perfect 62 or 58 is better than 2 weeks not knowing …I assume if im wrong please explain still learning

Use packs when your humidity has reached around 60 .Also looking at your buds ,you best do a bud wash with at least one peroxide step.As any spores in there now due to necrotic leaf tissue can mold your buds during drying.

You should try to hit the rh level before with standard methods. Bovedas and integras maintain that rh by stabilizing it by pulling and pushing a small amount of moisture. They are not designed like a sponge to pull buds dry only to “ maintain “ the rh.

After you harvest it is a good idea to do a bud wash.Put two cups of regular peroxide in 3 gal water .Dip and swirl buds lightly in that and then rinse in regular water. It will prevent Mold form posting up in your buds as you dry.I lost a whole plant last fall after the chop.IMG_20210916_155000005.jpg
