You can dig your finger into the soil and feel whether it's damp. If it feels completely dry right before you water it, it probably isn't getting enough water. I recently learned also that when cannabis gets hot it transpires water through the leaves to get cooled by evaporation. So if it's fairly dry where you live, plants can suck up a lot of water during a hot day.

Thanks for the clarification, that’s the one thing I read all the time. “Don’t overwater” and then of course its followed by all the things that come with overwatering.

Idk if it's been said yet but just lift your plants off the concrete the roots are getting hot. I grow in southern new Mexico desert climate it gets 120°, with low humidity. That's what my plants did when I first started growing outside ( tacoing ). The ones I have going at 3 wks you're right on schedule. Also you can try silica it helps, silica is also in azomite.

Had a old head that grew in the same conditions in cali give me that advise. Never did I consider it was my pots sitting on the hot concrete.

Yea that's what I use outside.

With these and those


I have used these pot elevators but they are more expensive and dont allow you to water from the bottom, seems for me these are better using liquid nutrients when you water to runoff

But either will work
