I tried rewatching trigun a few years ago. Hadn't seen it since cartoon network. I couldn't do it. It was one of my favorites as a kid though.Spot on. Early adaptation of Toonami and Adult Swim.

The nostalgia alone had me add that show, it was either that or Gundam Wing.I tried rewatching trigun a few years ago. Hadn't seen it since cartoon network. I couldn't do it. It was one of my favorites as a kid though.
If you’ve not watched it before, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing the 3.x release(s) on Prime Video, three films that actually manage to untangle it all and lay it out (mostly) linear. I watched it episodic a few times & thought it was a complete mess; after watching the whole thing pieced together, I may not understand it better, but I’m happier with having seen it.Finally started watching this, haven't finished it yet. I don't want it to end so I've been putting it off...for months.

One season animes are heartbreaking lol

I've had a few piss beers, tell me if I'm understanding this right. The series was edited into a 3 part movie and is more digestible? If you’ve not watched it before, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing the 3.x release(s) on Prime Video, three films that actually manage to untangle it all and lay it out (mostly) linear. They were free to watch not long ago….
I’ve seen the ones at the bottom (though I bailed on AoT partway thru S4)…just never encountered the others until after my shonen circuits’d burned outIn no specific order.
Dragon Ball (which includes z, super, and even GT)
Full Metal Alchemist
Inuyasha
One Piece
Bleach
Naruto
Trigun
Attack on Titan
Afro Samurai
Cowboy Bebop
Not just the original series, but all the after-stuff, too - which I found *some* of on the web, but not in ANY order or scheme…but, yes, the movies are ALL OF IT cut into an overall narrative, and def more digestible.I've had a few piss beers, tell me if I'm understanding this right. They missed a decent opportunity to name it "cicada noises in Japan". I've fell asleep to it a few times because the sound is so...mono, but in a therapeutic way.
Pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin pumpkinWho’s the cat in the pimp hat?
It’s Chinese, from Bilibili…first ep is…confusing? But interesting, I think.I have not but will look into it
Envy you…Cicadas ain't quit buzzin' here.
This isn't the right thread, but do you guy like Takashi Miike?
I'm still working on my top 10 anime list and idk how long it will take.
1 though 5 are rotating if that makes any easierIt’s Chinese, from Bilibili…first ep is…confusing? But interesting, I think.
Main impression: it’s animated, but only LOOKS like anime (?) - no idea what’s up, but that’s not new…
Envy you…
Takashi Miike = ???
Still working on “my list”, too (Jeff & co have been *very* patient with my lack of focus)…really, the issue is simple: ”what is ‘Number 1’?”. I have to say Kaguya-Sama has taken over the top spot for me, so that shakes things up, but having a #1 helps the sorting.
