Rose mothers, clones and crosses.
Hoping for a rose leaning male to cross back to the original rose clone.
The chubby three finger leaves is a strange trait of the rose mother, it makes normal leaves but always has the three fingers.
So far two of the seedlings have this. I’m waiting for them to show sex and flipping the lot
The small pots of coco are getting fed to waste with 1/4 canna A+B, I’ll be upping to 1/2 strength in a few days.
The two bigger plants are in a coots mix cut heavily with coco at about 30% coots/ 60% coco/ 10% rice hulls to see how long the coots will last.

Plants are boosting!
The Malawi are extremely vigorous, one out of the three is double the size of the other two and the Panama x PCK have been an absolute pleasure to grow so far.
the rest of the room is happy a plodding along.
all untopped to see their true shape and structure before topping and running again as clones.

This is the “holy” flavour to me, and the quest for the ultimate rosewater strain is still in progress.

I also popped another seed from the rado rose pack I initially found the “rose” in but looks and smells are way off at this stage.

New flood tray installed. Just being used as a big drain to collect waste run-off in a bucket.
Plants are getting 30ml canna A+B to 10lt water with a weekly dose of 10ml rhizotonic and 10ml calmag.
running them on as little as possible just to see the minimum requirements before becoming deficient.
Previously on 20ml/10lt and we’re looking hungry.

I’m hoping so mate. It let’s off that warning stench when I barley brush past it.
the 1024 from medical seeds seems to still be nice.
It’s been about 15 years since I’ve grown it but it’s definitely one I’ve got my eye on. Decent resin already, a lovely spicy smell and it’s only in a small pot with light soil.
impressive so far.

I ran both together many moons ago now, and they were both great, I was gonna get the two again but thought I’d check out the 1024 to see if was still alright and then get the no name.
The Canadian kush 2.0 they do sounds great but I’ve never tried it. I think it’s their original Canadian kush x to Casey jones.
I’ve only had devils harvest Casey jones and it was lovely so I imagine there’s would be nice too.
