That's no good mate. Were they old seeds? I'm sure Luc will sort you out. I've not grown it, but White Berry seems to have a good rep.I'll have to fire off an email to Luc. I put the pack of white berry in tissue on the 9th May and none popped
How many seeds in it? I onder if they're a mix of LA Amnesia, Mendiciuno Skunk and Blue Kush Berry?Whilst hoking for the white berry packet I came across a vial of seeds inside a small Ziploc bag labelled "Chongs Choice".
I'm not sure what they are.
Are they a mix of Tommy Chongs offerings? One of each seed? I haven't a clue!
Whiteberry was a good strain if its still the same idk aint seen any in years it be good if it was the same good luck manI contacted Paradise Seeds about the White Berry seeds and they are promptly sending a new packet.
The original seeds were actually a few or three years old and they were very kind to offer replacements.
I mentioned this thread to them too so you'd better be on your 'A' game @Prawn Connery as I'm sure they'll look in from time to time!
Thanks Paradise
Thanks.Whiteberry was a good strain if its still the same idk aint seen any in years it be good if it was the same good luck man
A bit but its more its own thing vs straight blueberry it tasted good im sure you will like itThanks.
Did it have any berry flavours ?
I'm on it mate!I mentioned this thread to them too so you'd better be on your 'A' game @Prawn Connery as I'm sure they'll look in from time to time!
Mate, that's quite a production line you have going! It's very ambitious! I'm sure all the growers will do you proud.Bit of eye candy before the next update.
Paradise Seeds Wappa (right) and Chimera Seeds C4 (left). This is our almost 10-year-old Wappa clone selected from 10 females back in around 2013. Everything is growing under High Light 420 Gen2 LED grow lights, which I designed (and are now sold by @Grow Lights Australia ). Note the bleached top on the Wappa – this grow is looked after by a freind of mine who can be a bit slack at times when it comes to topping and training. He would have much better results if he scrogged, but I guess it makes for some nice-looking cola plants.

Roles reversed: C4 in the front and Wappa behind. These are different plants to those above. The Wappa came down after this photo but the C4 still had 2-3 weeks to go.

I grew the C4 out from seed before I gave them to my mate. Here they are at two weeks under a 3500K propagation board.

And six days later at 20 days. Something different from the multiple Paradise Seeds strains in this thread. I'm also a big fan of Chimera Seeds.

Cheers mate. It's about to get even more ambitious as I've just germed another 4 feminised seeds of Sensi Star for another grower. That means we will have four growers participating in this thread now.Mate, that's quite a production line you have going! It's very ambitious! I'm sure all the growers will do you proud.
Ever notice they don't fully reverse or loose vigour greatly Prawn? My experience is once the reveggs done they grow very strong but others say so...On a related note, has anyone here ever cloned a bud? It can be done, and I have a couple of buds from two outdoor plants that have rooted and are now reverting back to vegetative growth so that I can grow them out again. This is a technique I use when I haven't planned to clone a plant, but it has surprised me during flowering – hence wanting to preserve the genetics.
Hi mate, it's been a while since I cloned any buds but in my experience – when revegged properly – it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. They grow out and flower just like any other plant.Ever notice they don't fully reverse or loose vigour greatly Prawn? Looking good, I'm excited about the Mars vs GLA side by side! After all the Mars doesnt have such a rich full spec. If done with clones that may show some differences in growth or speed of budding?
doesn't Mars use meanwell drivers? I'm also looking forward to this side by side!Hi mate, it's been a while since I cloned any buds but in my experience – when revegged properly – it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. They grow out and flower just like any other plant.
However, there is one phenomenon the other growers you mentioned might be getting confused with. If you take clones after the onset of flowering and you do not re-veg them FULLY, then they will stetch and produce elongated buds that don't fill in as much. You need to keep revegging until the new leaves go from 1, to 3 to 5 to at least 7 fingers or more before you reflower. As a general guide, for every week of flowering before you take the clones, you will need the same amount of time to fully reveg. So if you take a clone at 2-3 weeks of flower, it will take 2-3 weeks before they fully reveg. But if you take them at 6-7 weeks of flower, then it can take more than a month for them to fully reveg (not including the time it takes to clone).
Also, as we know, clones will finish flowering faster than seedlings – by up to a week or more.
As for the Mars vs GLA grow, there are two plants – the same clone – in a 4'x8' tent that has been divided into 2x 4'x4' areas with a screen down the middle. On one side is a GLA 500W Quad and on the other is a Mars Hydro FC4800, which also uses a 480W driver. The Mars light pulls about 460+W from the wall and the GLA Quad pulls 490+W. Both plants are getting the same nutrient and other conditions, so it will be interesting to see the difference in yield and especially cannabinoid levels. I know the GLA fixture pulls a few more watts from the wall, but they both use 480W drivers and the Mars light is suposed to be a 480W light. It's just that the Mean Well drivers we use put put more power than the cheap, no-name drivers Mars uses. I think it is a Moso driver or something like that.
No, they don't use Mean Well drivers. The FC4800 definitely has a Moso driver – I just checked the photos I took when we disassembled it.doesn't Mars use meanwell drivers? I'm also looking forward to this side by side!
